Love this place! Amazing food with the kind of quality (Bell & Evans chicken, LaFrieda meats) rarely seen in a local bar. Creative cocktail list, amazing bartenders and staff. Will be back... often. Update 3/4/24: was on a train home from Grand Centra Terminal, only to hear while en route that the trains would stop at White Plains due to down trees on the tracks. I immediately decided to come to Tav'ery... and I'm so glad I did. Veal Marsala meatballs and Mahi Tuna tacos, and BOTH orders were spectacular. Ordered a Snowball Margerita... and you simply couldn't pair a cocktail with a food order better than these Mahi tacos and Tav'ery's coconut margerita!!!! The Flamingo was an excellent cocktail for anyone who enjoys a sweeter after-dinner drink. They even have their own light beer on tap, and while I've had (slightly) better tasting tap beers, let's be honest... you don't order a light beer and expect to be blown away by the taste. It was the PERFECT light beer to pair with a creative cocktail list, and a diverse enough food menu to satisfy every refined "bar food" craving you have... and then some. Plainly stated, this is one of my Top 5 favorite places to eat and drink in Westchester, without reservation. I can't recommend this place strongly enough. The fact it was a full bar on a rainy Wednesday night speaks volumes about the quality of this place. I look forward to taking a train here in the spring and sitting at a table outside... hopefully without the MTA dictating the stop next time! Oh yeah... they're dog friendly! Looking forward to a weekend brunch with my dog Bowzer sometime soon!

This is my go to spot for a good cocktail and amazing food. I always get the fried calamari with an aperol spritz and sit on their little patio and always have an amazing experience. Genuinely some of the best calamari I’ve ever had, the service is impeccable and the place is run by a local married couple. Brunch here is also amazing, but there’s no better place for cocktails and appetizers!

Wasn’t sure what to expect when I stopped here for a quick dinner. Is it a sports bar? Is it a bistro tavern? It kind of has a sports bar feel when you walk in but then it leads to a compact, cozy dining room. French Onion Soup was decent. Burger was very good - fries that came with it were top notch. Service was friendly and efficient. I might stop by again if I’m in the area.

We visited The Tav-ery for the third time recently — and sadly, for the third time, we left dissatisfied. They want to project a high-end atmosphere, but the food speaks of a locale far less glamorous than they intend. The prices are outrageously high, yet neither the food nor the presentation justify them. My partner ordered the mahi-mahi tacos, but they literally fell apart — the moment she lifted them off the plate they came undone in her hand. I ordered the “short rib,” only to be served a beef chuck stew in its disguise. It was so drenched in an overly sweet sauce that it sent my eyes and stomach into a loop of disgust. The presentation overall was sloppy, colors off, plating messy, altogether borderline grotesque. After three visits, the inconsistency and over-promise make this place not worth the premium they demand. Frankly, the owner should consider hiring a chef who understands flavor balance, proper presentation and who knows the difference between meat cuts; e.g. short rib...

This is the second time I've come to have dinner and both times Tina had taken care of us, both times she has been so friendly, amazing and so attentive. The first time I had the Marsala meatballs and some buffalo wings. The Marsala meatballs really shocked me! They were delicious and great for a small bite (appetizer). The wings were great as well. Today I had a classic burger and my cousin had the stir fry. Our food came out so fast I was shocked and it all came out as we ordered. Our server Tina was very accurate and made sure to check up on us and provide anything we need. I highly recommend if you're looking for a good time, good food and a peaceful environment. Overall amazing food, amazing service...
