Wow! Hudson Prime Steakhouse truly knocked it out of the park with their brunch! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
We kicked off our meal with the appetizers, and let me tell you, the Crab Cakes were a standout! The Crispy Sushi —tuna, lobster, and salmon—was a showstopper as well. My apologies for not adding a picture of the appetizers; I dove right in!
Next up was the Lobster Bisque, rich and creamy and the Iceberg Wedge salad, which was crisp and refreshing.
For the entrees, we savored the Faroe Island Salmon, grilled to perfection and drizzled with a honey ginger sauce that added a delightful sweetness with potatoes and mixed veggies. The Colorado Lamb Chops were just as delightful, served with pan-fried gnocchi and mint jelly that elevated the dish to new heights.
Not only was the food absolutely DELICIOUS, but the service was also exceptional! Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. They made fantastic recommendations that enhanced our dining experience, ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout our meal.
To top it all off, the music was on point! The lively tunes had everyone dancing and added to the vibrant atmosphere, making our brunch even more enjoyable.

Read moreI haven’t been to this location since it was Il Sorriso, and I have to say it’s a step up. They renovated the restaurant beautifully. The view of the Hudson, from the dining room, is amazing as ever. The food was good. A stand out was the sushi taco trio that I was not going to order, but will def get again. I had the lamb chops. My friend had the filet. We shared a Caesar salad which was not very caesary. For dessert we ordered cheesecake, and a carrot cake, to celebrate my friend’s bday. The carrot cake was wonderful. My take away from the night is how amazing the staff was. Every single person from the hostess to the bartender (in passing), to the wait staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, helpful, and went out of their way to enhance our dining experience. I mentioned we were celebrating my friend’s bday. I did not even have to ask for a candle on her cake. They came to the table singing. And to showcase the mood there, the other diners chimed in, singing and clapping. Was really nice. I will take more photos next time. But tonight’s experience reminded me how valuable your staff can be. Whoever is responsible for the vibe at Hudson Prime…it’s a...
Read moreFood was delicious but service was so lacking. If you want to play with the big boys in the area, then you have to up your game. The appetizers were amazing from the shrimp to the artichokes. However, the porterhouse for two was definitely on the smaller size, as my husband could have consumed the entire steak. We had to ask for water numerous times (only three other tables were occupied) and when it came time for dessert, the waiter took our dessert order and neglected to ask if we wanted coffee. So the cake was served before the drinks. One thing that disturbs me when dining at what is supposed to be an "upscale" restaurant is when the table is not cleared of crumbs prior to serving coffee. I would highly recommend you add this touch, as it was expected, but not delivered. We had both of the chocolate desserts - mousse and chocolate with peanut butter cake. Both good, nothing spectacular. I expected some type of special NY cheesecake and there was no ice cream. We had a lovely evening with friends. However, more emphasis should be made to making the customers feel special and wanted. We...
