They donāt need this positive review, but I think every review is in some way helpful or impactful. As far as overall, Iād give them more than 5 stars. The service was great: I cannot eat certain spices and I called a few times to make sure. I know the pho dish I ordered shouldnāt have those spices but some places put them in the broth. When I arrived, I made sure again, and the waiter remembered me from the previous day when I called. He assured me. The food came out within 5 minutes, Iām hoping and guessing they make it fresh every day or 2. The meat I know was fresh because it was still slight red when the placed the bowl in front of me. My family is not Vietnamese, but we know how to cook. And their pho tasted either exactly like the way my family makes it or better. I advise eating it all on site because not only packing it to go would be in plastic, but also, after I opened it to eat the next day, it just did not have the same great quality. Not the restaurants fault. Just eat everything at the restaurant! I left a tip for putting up with my questions. Feel free to call and ask about any ingredients if you have allergies or just canāt tolerate some things well. They will be honest if their food contains it. The meal cost me $15, I order lean beef pho. I also love that they had spots to eat outside or indoors. The building looks like a yellow hut? Parking limited. But thatās not why youāre...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHello all I have been going to this place for years now to have my Favorite Vietnamese PHO soup. Though I Always felt some kind of way with service and attitude of the server/cashier there, I always doubted myself & let myself believe by thinking it must be me. Iāve always tipped heavily only because I loved the soup and never let so much of the unfriendly attitude of the server effect how I felt towards the quality of the soup. But my last visit, 2 reasons I decided not to tip. 1st, I felt like overcharged for the same soup Iāve been buys my for years. Part of me understood Bc of COVID 19 price inflation but 2nd, the vibe just didnāt feel right from the cashier/server. So the truth comes out. He started to argue with me, & started to get loud and I felt disrespected and made feel unwelcome only because I decided not to tip for the valid enough reason for myself & the value of business was made ZERO bc of the Value of gratuity.
Businesses now a days have lost the value of customer service and the ethical responsibility towards they have towards their clients. I would never go back there & I am sure it wonāt even...
Read moreThe house special pho is anything BUT greasy--sorry, buddy--but you're way off; meat will render off some of its fat as it cooks and that's not only natural, but also adds to the broth's deep flavor. It's sweet, savory, and triggers your umami sense all at the same time. These guys know what they're doing and the soup proves true to its traditional roots. I like to rip the basil before adding it to the soup so it releases its natural oils. I also add everything else from the jalapeño to the sriracha and other sauces; might as well go all out. And the price is right--for around ten bucks, you get a heaping bowl that could easily feed you twice and leave you full and satisfied each time. Give the pho a shot and if you have even the slightest idea of good vietnames and knowledge of their traditional food, you will not be...
