Mikuna Peruvian Takeout — Restaurant in Town of Greenburgh

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. This place has messed up my order twice in one day. Which has happened a couple of time but decided to keep giving them a chance but not after today mistakes by the staff. After speaking to the owner all he could say is they were busy. Which is a lie since I had to return to the place twice in one day in order to pick up the missing items from my order the place is never full people. They made the customer go out of their way in order to fix their mistake and they take no accountability for it. Never have experienced this level of poor customer service at a restaurant. The food quality isn’t even good to overlook their poor service at this place. Please rethink your order if you go here and most importantly always Check your order before your leave most likely it will be wrong and they won’t include everything you ordered. I have mixed feelings about this place for a while, but today was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I ordered a Ceviche de Corvina, which is $27.00, not only there was barely any fish at all in the dish, they didn’t add any rocoto (spicy sauce), but also they didn’t add any on the side, it also didn’t have any Peruvian Corn (cancha). I also ordered a Pesto Pasta w chicken Milanese and there was NO SAUCE on the pasta. It was white pasta, I ordered Pesto Pasta not plain.

I called to see if we could find a solution, and the only thing I got over the phone was “I’m sorry”.

$70.00 for a meal for 2, where you ruin 2 out of 3 dishes, needs A LOT MORE than “I’m sorry” to make it right. How can you possibly serve a Ceviche and forget the spice!?!?!? I would have given them another chance if they made this right, but since they had no intention of fixing the problems they created, I will not be ordering from there again. We always do takeout, so that’s why I didn’t review service or atmosphere. The most delicious chicken! The flavor goes throughout the entire chicken. The green dipping sauce is to die for. The beans are the best beans I’ve ever had, seriously. I just finished them for breakfast with an egg, YUM! We get the sweet plantains to accompany the dish. The fried rice is so delicious too. Seafood soup delicious and loaded with seafood! It was $55 and we literally got five meals out of it. I can’t understand why this restaurant doesn’t have five stars straight across.
