Waitress swiped our card for the table next to us and our table both!! Charged us an extra $228 without us knowing until we got our credit card statement. Also the food was horrible.
Called guest relations who told us they would not do anything to help. Even though they comment on every bad review pretending to help…
Each time we called the store to resolve this issue the staff was extremely rude and dismissive, especially the kitchen manager Juan, who was being rude before I even said a word to him. They all kept saying they couldn’t handle the issue and the managers were too busy and didn’t want to talk to us no matter what time of day we called.
Finally got to talk to the general manager Stephanie who admitted it was their fault and that we would see a refund within 10 days. 20 days later, no refund…
Tried calling Dave and Busters corporate office who sent us an email saying that they wouldn’t do anything to handle this issue for us. They wouldn’t even reach out to the store to try and help resolve the issue. They just told us to call the store again and deal with it ourselves. What a joke Dave and Busters corporate office is.
After dealing with rude staff again we finally got to talk with another manager Shannon who said she would let the general manager Stephanie know and look into it and call us back. She clearly lied to us because we never heard back and were eventually told by the general manager Stephanie that no manager there had even heard of this issue yet…
Another week later we had to call back 3 more times and deal with staff being rude to us yet again. Especially the rude kitchen manager Juan. At which point the general manager made up some lame excuse about why the refund was never processed.
Finally after that uphill battle which took a month of frustration from the time we first called, we got our refund. This place and their employees are a sad example of a business. Especially because all of the food ordered by our party was horrible.
After this experience and seeing the other reviews posted with pictures and videos showing mice all around the kitchen we will definitely not be back. What an awful and disgusting place to bring...
Read moreFirst off you walk in now and there is no sign and the guy selling game cards came over to tell us it’s seat yourself. I was watching people after me stand there and wait too. Maybe you should post a sign letting people know they can seat themselves instead of having the poor game card guy coming over to inform everyone.
Then we sat down and realized we order everything through our phone. There is no personal experience at all except the girl that comes over to tell you once you send your order she will bring you drinks. Then when she does bring your drinks over she doesn’t say anything and just begins to put drinks on the table and not asking who has what. Then when our app comes out we have no napkins and no silverware. My husband needed a refill and we weren’t sure if we needed to put it into our phone because she kept walking by and not offering even though his drink was clearly on the edge of the table where it could be seen.
Then our dinner came out and it was the same thing as our drinks... they just put the food at the edge of the table instead of asking who had what. I have been in the restaurant industry for 18 years and this order through your phone and no personal interaction is horrible. My husband even said this makes me want to never come back.... it’s not enjoyable. He is absolutely right. I understand covid changed a lot but how can I get a Bill with a suggested gratuity of 18% when I honestly did all of her work for her? I ordered my drinks and food... I even passed it out because it was put on the edge of the table. I had to flag her down for refills, napkins and silverware. So where do your servers earn any money.
I honestly don’t think it’s on the servers. If they were taking the order it would be a lot more personal, she would know who ordered what. Having the ordering through your phone is a horrible decision and I think it will effect your servers money in the end which will...
Read moreThis went from a almost 5 star review to the fact the food is great. My brother and I came Oct 2nd day before his birthday and got the WORST service of our life. Day before his birthday. Now I see how they treat American Veterans. We got there he ordered a beer hadn't even sat down went to use the bathroom fast cause we had been out driving for awhile. He got back and without being served and we were told to leave because they thought he was throwing up. NOW my question is, even if he was (which isn't the case he just had to use the restroom) why does it matter? What if he is receiving medical treatments that causes him to be sick, or that he had eaten something that hadn't agreed with him etc.. Are they watching people in the restrooms now? The day before this Airforce Veterans birthday and we have been VERY good customers for a long time all because he had to use the restroom we get told to leave due to being suspected of him vomiting??? REALLY.. COMMON. And you bet I will be contacting the GM about this I hope you still have the video footage of that night D&B as this was such bullcrap.
