Oddly expensive and one bartender for the entire restaurant! We dropped in here on our way from Boston to Indianapolis. We were on the road, and this was one of the few places that was open. We are not exactly fast-food lovers, so we opted for a sit-down dinner somewhere, and they were open. The place is somewhere between a bar and the restaurant. It doesn’t have the cozy vibe of some of the similar chains. likely because there were big TVs at the bar, which lent it sort of a sports bar atmosphere, although I don’t think that’s what they were going for. The server was excellent; she was really on top of it, and she came by to apologize when our drink was so late. We noticed there was only one bartender, and at some point, our server avoided us a little bit, because clearly the drink wasn’t ready, and the food had already been brought, and she did not want to pass by us without the drink! To her credit, she was hovering around the bar, waiting for my drink. It was a cocktail, so I really wanted it before the food came out. A glass of wine with food is OK, but sipping on a cocktail while you’re having your meal feels a little odd in that it doesn’t really go with the flavors. Certainly a few sips after the meal or before the meal. But my meal was on the table for quite some time before I received my cocktail. I saw the bartender looking up the recipe. So I think not only was he the only bartender for the entire restaurant, but I think he may have been a bit new. The food was very good, and I was prepared to think this could be a stop if we saw this chain in the future, but… then I saw the bill. It’s my fault. I didn’t have my reading glasses on, and I ordered shrimp tacos and tuna tacos, and I did not notice how much of an up charge they were! Each shrimp taco ended up being $3 extra per taco and the tuna tacos were $3 extra per taco, so for three tacos, the charge was $28.80. That’s almost $10 a taco. That’s a bit pricey! Especially just for a chain restaurant. They did come with rice and beans, but still, that’s the type of price you pay for a meal at a much nicer place. Again, I’m the one who didn’t see it, but I also never would’ve expected that much of a upcharge per taco in a restaurant like this. Maybe a dollar extra for shrimp or a dollar extra for the tuna, but wow, these ended up being quite an expense! My husband liked his meal. It was a Cuban sandwich and sweet potato fries. In fact, he said it was an excellent version of a Cuban sandwich. They also charged us for soda water. Out of the gun. We always ask if they have soda water in the bartender gum, because they really should not charge for that. It’s just like ice or water. It’s not like they’re opening a Pellegrino. But they charged us almost 3 dollars and called it a club soda. Pretty cheesy really. The server was quick to bring the check. So we could get back on the road. So the quality of the food and server hovered around four stars to five stars, and the price was one star, and the bartender was a one star. So I just averaged to three stars for an overall experience.

I'd like to start off this review by saying, ive been here before, honestly, really enjoyed it. Came back because of it. Will probably never come again. Let me set the scene, it was a wednesday night, no reason to be busy. 5 waiters, and a host. The host was the best part of our expirenece. As the reseraunt was dead, they stuck my (party of three) next to a party of 8, with 4 VERY loud kids. The whole place was empty, and i was sat right next to there. Now i appreciate this isnt the resteraunts fault for the noise, but there was no effort to move us as our waitress didnt appear for about 10 minutes for drinks. As she came bsck with our drinks, we ordered right away. One buffalo chicken salad, and two of the specialty honey pork tenerloin- one with honey sweet potato, one with sweet potato fries. This food took around 55 minutes to arive after ordered. Again, there were currently 5 tables sat, as we walked in. You wouldn't expect this wait, The waitress was no where to be found, so we couldnt even ask for a wait time. She seemed quite snobby, and was expremely unattentive. She went to go chat with friends before coming to us. Now i understand a wait, hut as the food arived, the salad was missing two key ingredients. The crispy onions, and tomatoes. The waitress said it wasnt missing anythjng, and we said, may we please see a menu because this isn't right (as weve gotten the salad before and got it again vecause of how enjoyable it was last time) After around 10 minutes she comes back, we point out the missing thibgs and she brings out two bowls with the onions and tomatoes. As if this wasnt enough, we were finished with our waters, she left before we could ask for refils and we were unable to find her. Continueing with the dissaster of food. The plates were huge, with the smallest amout of food possible in the middle. The tenderloin was hard, cold. there was so much sauce, it saturated through the paper and made half of the sweet potato fries soggy. After we had been done with our food for around 20 minutes, she is still no where to be found. we were slighty on a time limit to get out of the mall before our entrance closed. and she gave us no check, snd no box since she was too busy chatting with her friends. To maggies- i wish your waitstaff was more attentive, and took greater effort into ensuring a good experience.

Went to eat with my wife, daughter and mother-in-law, and I am truly disappointed. We ordered our drinks. They came to the table and I asked if we could have straws. We were told we don’t carry straws anymore yet they carry napkins and food trays to go.. My mother-in-law has tremors and shakes profusely so her holding a pint glass full of water is very difficult for her to drink. I had to go to the restaurant next-door and explain to them why I needed straws and they politely gave me straws and I brought them back into the restaurant. Then I got a dirty look because I put straws in the glasses. My daughter ordered pasta with sauce, and the sauce was like a tomato paste clumpy she couldn’t even eat it. My mother-in-law ordered a Gyro and there was no tzatziki sauce on it. We asked the server and she said oh well I see a little bit there would you like to order a side of Taziki sauce. I said yeah because this is not how a Gyro is supposed to be , I should know I’m Greek. My wife ordered the BLT and it was all lettuce and tomato. There was really no bacon on it at all. She could only eat half of it. My bacon cheddar cheeseburger was beyond greasy. I asked for no onions and it came with onions on it, asked for it to be cooked medium, and I came out on the rare side. I had to ask her to refill my water after she had walked by our table multiple times and saw that my glass was empty. She said I’ll grab it for you, after waiting for over 10 minutes I went to the bar and asked for water. She said oh I just brought you some, and told her that I have waited for 15 minutes and I have had nothing to drink. She asked if that was all we needed and I asked for the check and paid. She gave me the card and receipt back and hovered by the table to grab it . I moved it off the table because it’s very unprofessional to stand there waiting. We have eaten there many times and unfortunately do not plan on going there again.

Oh where the begin. Came to this establishment a few weeks after it opened with some high hopes. The website promised many locally sourced products and a new and different vibe. However, the food and service were not up to par. They estimated a wait of 30 minutes (although there were quite a few empty tables - but I understand some could have been reserved). After being seated, we ordered drinks and waited about 10 minutes for the waitress to return and tell us that beers we ordered had been tapped. Which, okay, no big deal, but she did not have a menu for us to choose new beers when she came to tell us this. So we had to ask for a drink menu and she ran off and took another 10 minutes to bring it to us...and then she ran off...and then another 10 minutes passed by the time she returned to order new drink orders...and that pattern continued all night with just about everything. Food orders came out incorrectly for 2 people in my party of 6, which took a long time to rectify. The food runners were incorrectly naming the different burgers, causing confusion and "I did not order that" among our whole table. The food was not what the website had promised. The burger buns were soggy, the gyro "meat" was remniscent of steakums, and the food was not warm enough. Not to mention that the Pepsi tasted awful, after asking for a different one twice, they did not apologize or offer a different beverage. Our waitress was difficult to find half of the evening. We had trouble even getting water for the table. When we finally got the check (after waiting 20 minutes for it), it was incorrect. It is difficult to put into words how disappointing our experience was. I hope this review helps others when choosing their next dining experience. Also please keep in mind it is very OVERPRICED. (My partner and I had a bill of $65 for 1 app, two burgers, and 2 beers). If you have 2.5 hours on your hands for a meal, sure, I would say give it a try. Many others review this place with 4 or more stars. Maybe this was a 1 time fluke, maybe this is all because it is a fairly new establishment... but otherwise, I say just go to...
