Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I wish I could give zero stars. Boy this place has really gone down in every aspect. Use to be good food good drink n amazing service but now nothing about it males it worth coming here to eat and should be shut down for good. On forst walk in there was no host to greet us we actually stood there waiting for just about anyone for almost 10 mins. And then agter getting seated it was about half an hr before a server greeted us which is unfortunate because he seemed like a nice guy once he did come. The we order our drinks and the serve didn't even ask us if we wanted anything else he literally ran away, yet my partner and I was actually ready to order everything. We get our drinks and place our food order. After waited another half hr n still food I noticed something floating in my drink boyfriends drink and upon further investigation we realized there was a small dead spider floating in his drink. That to me is a food safety issue. We call the server who then right away tells us he will get a manage. Almost half an hr pass no manager came to our table to try n fix anything. Later the server comes back to the table asks us did the manager come to the we told him we want to leave but I will pay for the 1 thing I did consume, N after another couple mins he comes running back apologizing for the manager not coming and telling us that she gave him permission to let us go and not pay for anything. I think it's very unprofessional of the woman manager who was on duty last night July 14 around 9pm. To not come right away to handle the situation. That poor server should not have to wait his tables and deal with manager situations because she refuses to tend to consumers. I highly do not recommend anyone eat at this particular Applebee's. Unless u want to risk a bug situation as I had to deal with last night, only for the manager for not help her employees or customers in any way. These workers are horrible and the manager is very unprofessional. I ordered food from the Uber Eats App And I never received my order. This is the second time this happened to me. And I did not even get my receipt. I spoke to the manager and I told him Can you Please make sure I receive Everything I purchased And he said okay. Then when I called the restaurant to speak to the manager again about my missing order he got upset and did not even want to speak to me. And then on top of that the manager lied to me and said They never charge me for my missing order That's a lie because on my Uber Eat App it says what I ordered. The manager needs more training cuz obviously his not doing a good job as a manager. It's not my fault Y'all workers Are unprofessional. And the customer service is horrible And the manager is ghetto and a liar. I guess they're blind because on the computer it shows clearly what I ordered. Save your money because it's not worth it to order from this restaurant. I will be making a complaint against this restaurant. All they care about is the customers that's eating inside the restaurant but when you order something from The Uber Eats App You never get what you ordered. I work hard for my money and when I buy something I'm expecting everything I purchased. But for some reason these workers don't care about anything except getting Paid. Do not order anything from this restaurant on the Uber Eats App because You will not get what you ordered. Spend your money somewhere else. Without the customers y'all wont have anything. We the ones who support your business. So we should be treated like paying customers And make sure the customers receive what they ordered. the workers should do a better job to make sure everything we brought is in the bag. Okay so I went in starving how it took the waiter about 10-15 min to even come by my table and ask if I wanted something to drink. Fine that's over with then I proceed to ask him about a drink (summer breeze) which at the time i couldn't recall the nail but described it to the key and he did not have a clue what I was talking about. Like you work here it was on the menu as a special drink for a little while before this new Blue Macho Shark Cocktail came out fine that was a bust no drinks then. So i proceed to order my appetizers spinach and artichoke dip(not enough chips for the amount of dip)and baha wonton tacos (very little meat in it and was watery)and onion rings (over cooked to the max I like crunchy but Jeez can i taste the food. I wanted to give them benefit of doubt maybe they were swamped but I looked around the restaurant and soon realized it was not that many people there to make those mistakes, again fine I then ordered my entree salmon with loaded mashed potatoes and garlic green beans. When I tell you it was horrid it was just a waste of my time and money. The salmon was over cooked, the green beans tasted like they just came out the can n had no garlic sauce or taste to it and why they called it loaded mashed potatoes when it was mash sprinkled with a few tiny pieces of bacon n the sour cream on the side looking odd.. The only 2 item I enjoyed was the water and the chocolate lava cake not the ice cream cause it was melted by the time it made it to my table.
