If you are going for appetizers, some beers, and to watch a game, then this is the place for you. However, if you intend to grab a full meal, I would highly suggest against it. We have been coming here for almost 20 years. Since we have moved away, this was one of our go-to places when we were in town (at least 2 times a year). The food quality has been slowly going downhill, and this past Saturday night was the last straw and inexcusable. Let me first start off that our waitress Bella was absolutely a rock star, and in no way does this review affect her. She was apologetic and a true professional. We had a party of 13, so there was a variety of things ordered, and I will admit the group had children to fossils, and Bella handled it all like a champ. Drinks came out fast. Appetizers consisted of wings, both on the bone and boneless, a pretzel, and some mozzarella sticks. They were done perfectly. Now, the bad, not one single person enjoyed their main dishes, every single person made a comment. My daughter absolutely hated the sheppard's pie, a dish she ordered quite often at other places and cleans her plate. She left 90% of it and said it was disgusting. My sister in laws grilled chicken salad was chewy and gross, and the same goes for the chunks of chicken in the pot pie my brother in law had. My father in law had a burger that he said was tasteless, and this man will eat anything and never complain. My nephew was also unimpressed with his burger to the point that they decided not to order one to go for his brother. My wife, myself, and my other brother in law all ordered the steak sandwich. All 3 came out cold to warm along with cold fries. They re-made mine, and after 1 bite, I threw in the towel as the meat literally took 30 seconds to chew it, and I had ordered it medium. It was just poor quality. Lucky for me, that I did because both my wife and brother in law got sick. As stated earlier, Bella did take multiple things off the 500+ dollar check, but after so many misses in the past and this, they have lost not only my wife, kid, and I as customers, they have lost my wife's entire family who are locals. It is a shame as this was one of my old stomping grounds. I'll go for a beer and wings, which are still solid, but they need to address the quality of food and possible kitchen staff issues, or they will lose...
Read moreWow 😳 I am so disappointed in my experience from tonight. So, my family wanted wings for my eldest nephew’s birthday and his mom suggested BBWs. I used to go to Croxley’s a while back and knew the wings were good and actually cheaper, so I opened my big mouth🙄and suggested we go there. So, I set it all up. Now, when we got there and the whole party showed up we were seated fast so that was a good start, and it was a lot of us so I was happy so far. We placed all our orders mostly wings and calamari that sort of thing and waited for out food. FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF. Now, Ive owned my own chicken restaurant in the past, and I know fresh chicken done right in this biz should be out between 8min 40 sec fresh and 10 min the most when frozen (we used Broasters). This was a hell of a long wait and I get it, it was a 11 people but I mean COME ON NOW! It wouldn’t have been too bad if the staff was friendlier. I mean there was one or two hostess that were kind of pleasant but the wait staff was terrible and kind of rude. The wings weren’t like I remembered and neither was the atmosphere. The fish and chips were saturated in oil and my little niece didn’t want it. My nephew requested a glass of water 4x and when the waiter asked him again what he needed she gave him the attitude as if he was bothering her. The plates were thrown on the table and we were just ignored. I was let down by this experience. It wasn’t what I expected at all, and in the end I won’t be suggesting a this place. I’ll never hear the end of this with my family but, now I...
Read moreAfter hearing great things about this place I must say I was very disappointed, when I got there it was around the evening Sunday , I understand there is Sunday night football and they were a little busy , first I was told we had to wait which is ok, they said 15-20 minutes, but we waited for about 25-30 minutes, ok fine, so then we got a seat and ordered our food, our appetizer was a spinach dip and chips, the dip was room temperature and barely hot, and it honestly kind of smelled , so then we get our orders of wings , my brother ordered the cry like a baby wings and I ordered hot, my friend ordered medium, my brothers wings came out Luke warm, barely even so, he told the waitress and she took the wings that were barely hot, popped them in a microwave I’m assuming and bought them back out, mine were not even crispy and were not very hot, my friend was the only one who thought they were ok, all in all I was very unhappy with the experience aside from the waitress who was very nice, sorry to say but I see why they need to sell booze , since you down a 6 pack and then maybe the food might be good if your starving, needless to say I will not...
