Went with a Dunkin Coupon gimmick for a turkey bacon sandwich. Cashier told me snidely that its a kosher place. Well my money sure as F isn't kosher so i'll always take my non-kosher money where it's appreciated. I also hate to support that kosher tax that's added to any food we buy kosher.
Organized religions rip people off. For example, they don't have to pay property taxes yet they enjoy all the benefits of police and fire protection. Even the "faith-healers" can call 911 for a paramedic!
One big religious rip off that is taking place, in addition to the above travesty of justice, is the kosher rip off. This scam is paid for by unaware consumers who haven't been warned about the rabbinical rip off!
The way the kosher scam works is a group of rabbis sell the "right" to a company to display their particular kosher marking.
Each item you buy that has a kosher mark on it cost you additional money. The individual amounts are usually small, but the big take is truly BIG! And more important, it's the principle that matters. Why should someone who doesn't believe in the Jewish superstition of "kosher" pay into the pocket of a revealed religionist???
And as anyone with common sense knows, the corporations who pay these ridiculous fees don't eat the cost themselves! They pass it on...
Read moreI went to this location 05/03 at 12am. And the drive thru was pretty busy for 12am. The poor guy inside was alone, he was doing the inventory, front cashier, drive through and taking long orders. He apologized again and again and we assured him that he can take his time when though we placed a mobile order ahead of time, we even told him that we can leave since he is alone. He apologized and told us to stay. Dunkin really needs to do well with staffing, leaving an employee who literally looked like a high school kid to manage alone is outrageous. There should at least be 2 employees at midnight for 24-hour locations.
And I went to this same Dunkin another day before 05/03 around 11am, the entire staff is so rude, they don’t acknowledge that the customers are standing in line, they cut you off mid sentence, they get your order wrong. The day stuff really needs some training.
And the night staff needs to be treated right...
Read moreWent in to get a refresher, which I normally get from the Dunkin in Freeport. The person who made the refresher (Mikaylalean), handed it to me without saying a word. As I sipped on it, I realized she hadn’t put enough concentrate, so I went back up to the counter and nicely asked her if she could add a little more. She rolled her eyes at me, and Asked, “you actually need more concentrate“? I stood my ground and told her that I did because it didn’t taste right. That’s when the Spanish lady came over and took the cup to add more concentrate. I was then told that if I ever needed more concentrate in my drink, I would be charged more for it. The drink was placed in front of me without a word. That’s when I realized I would never come back to this Dunkin’ Donuts location again no matter how convenient it was.
If I’m spending my money, I don’t deserve to be treated like this. So I’ll spend my money elsewhere where it’s more...
