Alright y’all, I found the BEST Mexican food in the Atlanta area. @fridasmexicangrill is so bomb. The vibe in the restaurant is great, they had a live band & everything. Now, let’s get started on the food. The Frida’s Dip was loaded with steak, shrimp, chicken, and cheese … F I R E 🔥 Guac was fresh & the drinks were strong. If you’re craving Mexican this should be your first stop, & make sure you let them know Links In The City sent you!

We went to this place because it had a high star rating. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance , beautifully decorated. Unfortunately the food is horrible and over priced. We have had better Mexican food. This is not authentic Mexican food. I ordered the shrimp tacos and immediately knew i was not going to enjoy it. The shrimp was precooked shrimp that was warmed up which made it robbery and with zero flavor. We also ordered the chimichangas and kids meals which also were not great. The drinks were okay which probably were the only good things, mediocre. I was asked if everything was okay and expressed that I didn’t eat or like my meal and was asked if I wanted to pack it go but was not given an apology or another meal. What made me write this review was the servers reaction after the tip we left her. Server Ena V, was given a cash tip which she felt was not the “suggested” amount and proceeded to show her disappointment by calling another server to show what she was given just a few feet away from us. With anger and disgust she said look what they left me, circled the “suggested tip” amount and said “I’m giving it back to them “ . After swiping the card she brought us back the receipt with the cash tip still attached. We were very upset, and turned off with this place and will never return or recommend this place to anyone especially after that embarrassing experience. We have never had any server react to a cash tip the way she did . We are not petty people and could have taken it back, so we still left her the cash tip on the table. And hope that she doesn’t make anyone else feel the way she made us feel. Her tip was generous for the service she provided. We left Very upset and will never return.

Came here on a Friday night with a party of 6, would likely recommend a reservation (we had one) as it seems like the place fills up quick, and for good reason! Chips and salsa were served complimentary, and definitely some of the better ones I've had, even ones I've paid for! We started off with the queso, which was very tasty. I went with the Mexican Combo (rice, beans, quesadilla, chimichanga, and a flauta with guac, Pico, and sour cream) which can't be beat for variety and bang for your buck value, my personal favorite on the plate though was the chimichanga and I'd find myself hard pressed not to order those next time I come in. Highly recommend asking for their habanero hot sauce on the side, it's a bit spicy, but it's got great flavor. I wish I had room for dessert, as everything looked good, but alas it wasn't in the cards. Staff were very polite and helpful, although a little slow, but it was a busy night so there's a good excuse. There were also two gentleman playing songs on violin and guitar for the tables that were quite talented and gave an extra flair to the atmosphere. Parking right in front can be a little tight, so you might need to park along the side roads, but those aren't too bad to deal with. Very pleased with my experience and I'd be glad to come back and try more of the menu any time.

Food was ok. Sangria was ok but had far too much ice. Great atmosphere. Service sucked. Got here at 6:30, 2 people. Did not leave until 8:30. Food came out pretty quick but after that, we didn’t see the waitress anymore. (Barely!) had to ask twice for a dessert menu. Ordered nachos for $16.95 and asked TWICE to confirm the meat was the same price on the nachos and was told yes both times. When the bill came, it showed $21.95. So she charged us $5 more and flat out lied to our face, twice. (Another reviewer had the exact same issue so buyer beware: they lie about the nacho pricing!!!!!)

There is another issue but I already reached out to management and I’m going to have them review and look into it first.

All I can say is if you go here, pay with credit card - not cash.

Also - parking was terrible! Not their fault but something to absolutely keep in mind.

EDIT: management never reached back out. I paid cash for dinner as there was a “cash discount” aka the illegal credit card fees for paying card. I counted the money twice before giving it to her. The tip was less than suggested as the service was not great. I absolutely removed the added $5 for nacho fee that she lied about and took that out of her tip. She took the money to the front and there was a few of them up there - for a bit. As we left, she came over to us and told us we didn’t leave enough. I gave cash and what was I going to do? I was so fed up at this point and ready to go that I took the money from her, counted $20 less of what I know I left and just handed another $20 and left. What I’m saying is - she pocketed a $20 as she didn’t like the tip I left her. I reached out to management via Instagram and email to have them check cameras and assist and they said they would - and never got back to me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt before posting this as a review but - clearly, they don’t care.

We will NEVER return and I highly suggest if you dine here, pay credit card only! Better yet - don’t dine here. Plenty of other honest, great service mexican locations...

Came here with some girlfriends on a recommendation as we were in the area and glad we did. Loved the décor and ambiance it was so cute. Greeted immediately and served chips and salsa, we each ordered different margaritas which were all delicious and decently strong we each had another round (cucumber jalapeno marg, Cadillac, and Fridas Ghost). Ordered the tableside Guac for an app. We got the steak cancun (perfectly cooked and delicious) the ropa vieja, and I got the fish tacos. Before I could even say anything the owner (she also happened to be our waitress) came over to us and said there wasn't much mango salsa as more needed to be prepared and offered me a new dish. I didn't want to be annoying so I did try them and felt bad but the salsa kind of makes it (which she agreed and why she offered in the first place) so I took her up on the offer of a new dish and ordered the ropa vieja as well (which came out so quickly) and did not disappoint. Everything was so good! Wish we took pictures but we were starving! Both Tony the manager and the owner (so mad I didn't get her name) couldn't have been nicer! We were told they have live music Fridays and possibly Tuesday nights?! Really nice experience with an even better staff and owner! Deff worth the the visit we will def be back just wish we...
