I hate to be this person but here it is— completely disappointed. Walked in with high expectations only to be let down mainly bc of the food. Portions were way off- more isn’t always better, and that’s an understatement at this establishment. Whenever I asked for a certain ingredient, the employee grabbed too much of that ingredient and just threw it on the plate. Also, the meat (ie steak, chicken, and some type of sweet chicken) seemed dry and old especially the steak. Seasoning wasn’t good either. The taco tortillas were not at all warm. In fact, they were cold and had a stale/ rubbery taste to them. The nachos, like the tacos, had too much of every ingredient I asked for and were served cold. Doesn’t help that the whole menu is practically “make your own” so you’re basically going in there clueless on how to create a tasty and enjoyable meal with little guidance on the part of the establishment. And while the employees were kind and polite, the one guy who made my food had no clue what he was doing. In fact, on several occasions, one of the other employees had to intervene several times as he was preparing my food to correct his many mistakes. Overall, while I do appreciate how polite the employees were as soon as I walked in, I did not enjoy my meal there. AT ALL. In fact, it was so bad that I didn’t finish all of it. Tried it once, thank you, but I for sure will not be going back. To the establishment, one suggestion is have options so customers can easily pick something as soon as they walk in. I’m not saying the “make your own” approach is bad, but having both options can certainly work in your favor. In addition, remind your employees of the importance of proper portions. If someone asks for sour cream, don’t dump a gallon of sour cream over the nachos for god sakes! And lastly, the meat. THE MEAT. Try preparing it in a way so that it tastes fresh and not old. Oh yes! One last thing. Tacos and nachos should not be...
