Little Enrico's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

A great neighborhood shop serving up one of my favorite slices of pizza in NY.

It's a nice corner shop on a little strip of stores in Franklin Square. It has that classic pizzeria feel, and the pizza is fantastic. The staff is solid and welcoming too.

I usually go for the plain cheese, but their specialties are great too. Their buffalo chicken slice is fantastic, and highly recommended.

The crust is super thin and perfectly cooked. It's a little chewy, crispy, but not overdone. For the plain slice, the sauce is super flavorful, seasoned and savory, and not sweet. It's the perfect amount and thickness of cheese, again flavorful and a little salty, and not greasy at all.

Food is consistent. Never really had a bad offering. Kids like the zeppoles. Sausage and broccoli rabe slice is good as well as upside down pizza. Sometimes they aren't the fastest on orders despite ordering ahead, but they do get swamped so it's understandable. Knocked off a star bc they no longer deliver to my area. I don't think I am too far out of their footprint but it used to take a year and a day for them to get my food to me. Maybe they don't get too many orders in my area. Very rude! Called to place an order for a vodka pie, the first gentlemen was very rude when speaking, he then put me on hold where another gentleman asked what I wanted and I again said a vodka pie, and he as well was very rude when speaking so I said to cancel the order. If you’re going to have people answering the phone they shouldn’t sound annoyed to be helping you. I’m giving you business, you should answer the phone happy and be helpful to your customers.
