Where should I start .... I decided to get Moe's with my wife after receiving a text message deal for $5.99 burrito or burrito bowl. We arrived at the restaurant. It was hot in the restaurant. No AC, just ceiling fans. When placing my order. The heavy-set Spanish woman looked like she did not want to be there. I told her I will get a steak bowl to stay. Then, before she started the order or put anything in the bowl. I changed my mind after seeing that the steak looked a little dry. I said Let me get the chicken instead. She physically rolled her eyes at me. Asked me again if I wanted it to stay. I said yes.
After she placed the rice, beans, chicken, corn, and peppers in the bowl, she slid the bowl to another worker. I told the workers which other toppings to place in the bowls. She then asked me if it was to stay. I said yes. When cashing out, another female employee handed the orders to the cashier, who, I presume, is the manager.The woman asked what I got and asked again if it was to stay. Third time's the charm.
The cashier/manager guy rang me up. I said I had a coupon, and he said Okay. He looked at me like I was from another dimension before asking me for the coupon code. I told him I had a free drink from the app but he said I could not use it with this offer. Which I understood. I just went on the app and redeemed it in-store for a pick up, from the horrible services to frequently asked questions about whether the meal is here to stay, and the lack of portion size, especially regarding their protein. I would not go to Moe's regularly over Chipotle, at least at Chipotle, the food and service are way better. I’ve been to this location multiple times. I work during the day so often I get to the restaurant between 8:30PM and 9PM leaving about an hour to an hour and a half before the restaurant closes.
However the staff at this location starts to close an hour early every single night and they will take their aggression out on customers who walk in after 8:30PM.
They loudly start dragging chairs and flinging tables across the restaurant while customers are eating at tables and will talk loudly and repeatedly about how they are closing soon.
Every single time I’ve come I’ve walked out of the restaurant and finished eating well before 10PM. I have never pushed the limits of forced them to stay open later than their posted hours. The workers here are simply lazy and rude and want to go home early every single night because they are probably paid an hourly wage and therefore don’t care about the customers at all because there appears to be no competent management above them to let them know that their job security is dependent on customer satisfaction.
I probably won’t be eating here going forward. Especially not after 8:30PM. I recommend anyone else does the same unless you enjoy someone sweeping dirt next to you while you eat while that same person shouts across the restaurant to the other employees about how they want to go home because they’re...
