SoBol RVC — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I work at a highschool nearby, and all of the kids would tell me about Sobol. I decided to try it and I regret it. When I walked in I was greeted by a tall bald man, and he was so rude. I came in with my 3 children, Fran (4), Deandre (8), and my oldest June (13, cat/dog). The bald man who had taken my order had refused to serve my oldest because they were wearing furry cat ears. He said “I won’t serve you, and I don’t respect you”. Finally he did end up serving us. The prices were ridiculous. $12 for an acai bowl that was completely melted and did not look appetizing. While we were eating in the store, the man went into the back and I heard yelling… These are kids that work here!!! They make mistakes. There is no reason to be yelling at them. When we were walking out, the man had yelled at us to never come back again (because of my child June who was wearing furry cat ears). This is absolutely insane and I won’t tolerate it. The most horrible experience I have ever had at this establishment! The girl there was so rude, I placed an online order at 2:31pm. I got there at about 2:40pm I told her my name and stated I have an online pickup order she said okay no problem. When I got there no customers were on the line. One lady came ordered her stuff got it within 2 minutes, I assumed it was because she didn’t have any allergies and ordered a simple acai bowl. Then about 5 people were ordered during the duration of me standing there and she went back there and made the bowls still yet to see mine come out this was at 2:56 pm. I asked her about my bowls she said it’s not time for the order to be picked up. She then came back and gave someone there order at that point I was over it and annoyed because I’ve been standing there for literally 18 minutes for no reason! On Mothers Day (yesterday) I recieved a Build your own for 6 platter Mothers Day Platter Special. I was sent bowls with no "lids"called them and was told by the clerk, "like I said", this was our first time making it", You can come get your tops if you want. (Unreal) The platter was to serve 6 it only served 4. Asked that thry either give a coupon or refund a small percentage for the inconvenience of coming back , I was told " owner said you got everything else so no". The bananas were cut into slices and not left whole so the bananas turned brown before yesterday was over. The jest of the platter is a wonderful idea the execution by this store and its employees was POOR. I requested THE OWNER give me a call left my name and number. I will follow up with outcome.
