Taste Greek Grill — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I'm only in town for a couple of days and my biggest regret in life is that I don't get to experience more of this place. The food is amazing. Not just like "mmm yea that's tasty." No they put the care into making sure I enjoyed every single bite.

Never in my life have walked into a restaurant that opened a week ago and felt like I've been going there my whole life.

I am not a New Yorker. Been up here twice in my 39 years of life (both pleasant experiencs). So, my only real view is from the movies. Idk if this is a real thing. So don't judge. You know in some movies some dude goes into some dinky bodega and the guy running it knows the dudes whole life story. It's this whole scene of him making the dude a sandwich while he's asking how's his mom, how's school, cracking some joke about chasing after some girl. Then he tosses the dude the sandwich as he runs out with "oh imma be late...I'll get you later!" Mind you the dude never order a sandwich. The bodega guy just instinctively knew what he needed. That's the vibe I get from this place. I wish I lived around the corner so I could have Taste Greek Grill in my life regularly. Not just the food, but the people and the community.

Y'all keep this treasure going. I hope to come back some day and try more...

Taste is fairly new and I am already becoming a regular here. This time around, I remembered to finally take a picture of my delicious food. The first few times, I was so eager to eat, that I forgot. I’ve had a fantastic experience each time. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, authentic and generously portioned (believe me, I’m Greek and I KNOW!). The gyros are very tasty and their beef Angus burger is so juicy! Nick the owner and his staff are friendly, courteous and accommodating, making the ordering process smooth and pleasant. I also love that they give each child a toy at the register with their meal. It’s such a thoughtful touch that kids really enjoy. The space is truly inviting - it’s clean and bright with a Mediterranean vibe that enhances the dining experience, if you choose to sit there and eat. I highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic and tasty Greek cuisine. Overall, Taste Greek Grill exceeds my expectations and needless to say, I’ll definitely keep...

New favorite Greek spot in Westbury area!!!!

Their food is DELICIOUS- beef/lamb is super moist and never dried out. Their portions are the biggest I’ve seen around as far as Greek food goes.

Even my son’s kids meal (their grilled cheese is a pita grilled cheese) was tremendous, came with drink and kids toy.

I know they have some first time order deals going on currently which has been nice also. Use the QR code on their physical menu.

Also they seem very appreciative of our businesses and added a complimentary item to our order (this was our 2nd time getting delivery) which I thought was very sweet. Their delivery time has been quicker than expected both times as well.

Happy to give them my business, as I’d love to see them succeed since I used to have to go way farther for Greek food before they opened. Recommend 100% - Give them a try!
