Tony's Tacos Floral Park — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Tony’s Tacos has a good rating based on food apps so I decided to try it. I ordered for pick up to go as some parts of NY aren’t having customers dine in yet. However, it looks as though Tony’s does have the option to dine in. I ordered mainly from their popular items section and a pizzadilla, something not under their popular items. I started off with the mango and shrimp taco. To be honest, I was quite surprised to find rice in a taco, but it wasn’t like it’s not listed in the description. The mangoes were sweet and it went well with the shrimp as the shrimp was lightly fried on the outside. It gave the taco crunch mixed with the sweetness of the mangoes. I wish there was more shrimp in the taco though. I also ordered a carne asada. Wasn’t something I would reorder again. I felt the meat wasn’t seasoned. The onions really took away the taste and flavor of the taco overall. However, I think if you took out the steak and ate it with something else not a taco, it would be good. Then there was the chicken pizzadilla. It tastes like Taco Bell quesadilla. The chicken looks dried so it wasn’t appealing to the eye. Lastly, I ordered the churros dulce de leche but they ran out so asked if it was all right to substitute with Nutella churros instead. I was really looking forward to eating a churro with dulce de leche filling. Sounds like a dessert person’s dream come true. Sadly, I did not get to try it, and the Nutella churros was just the end of the churros dipped in Nutella. No filling. It was nice to try some place else to eat tacos but I probably would not revisit unless I’m really craving for shrimp and mangoes. That is something to definitely...

Tony's Tacos in Floral Park: A Flavorful Fiesta with Top-Tier Service! My recent visit to Tony's Tacos in Floral Park was an absolute hit! Accompanied by a close friend, we both opted for the tacos special, which includes your choice of tacos, a side, and a drink – a fantastic value.

For my taco selection, I went with a quartet of champions: the Pollo Supreme, Steak Supreme, and Carne Asada. Each taco was a testament to quality, bursting with powerful, clean flavors. The meats were cooked to perfection, tender, and incredibly well-seasoned. To complement my tacos, I chose the queso as my side, and it was the ideal creamy, savory addition. The entire meal was incredibly satisfying, leaving me feeling perfectly full without being overly heavy. What truly elevated this dining experience, however, was the top-tier service. The manager was absolutely on top of her game, actively moving around the store and checking in with each individual table. This level of attentiveness is incredibly rare to see nowadays, and it alone has earned my respect and guaranteed my return as a loyal and repeat customer.

Tony's Tacos truly delivers on its promise of delicious, high-quality Mexican fare. The flavors were vibrant, the ingredients fresh, and the overall experience, enhanced by such dedicated service, was exceptional. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to this Floral Park...

OMG TONYS TACOS, whatever you are doing, PLEASE do not stop 😜😜😜. Your tacos are AMAZING!!!! These tacos taste so good, juicy, meaty, the tortillas are not soggy but they are soft, they don't fall apart, they aren't your average tacos but they definitely are that home comfort feel! They make these tacos with LOVE EVERRYYYY TIME!!!! AND, let me mention that I have YET to have any order issue when ordering with them. My order is ALWAYS right which I love. Now, many would say that they aren't cheap BUT I promise, every bite you take you'll see just how every penny spent was worth that one bite alone lol. I absolutely love this place and recommend it to any and everyone that loves tacos. I love them ALL, I do but so far my favorite is the taco trio which is called Taco Alla Scarpetta. It's 3 tortillas I guess dipped in a garlicy oil then toasted and stuffed with premium certified Angus beef, guattro formaggi sauce, pomodoro sauce & fresh cilantro and it's served with a side of Tony's secret Scarpetta dip which to me is like a well seasoned marinara sauce topped with mozzarella cheese and then you dip each taco in it, OMG, AMAZING YALL!!!!!...
