Customer service is always important to me. While waiting in line, for about 10 minutes, the guy finally stopped cleaning lettuce to ring up the lady who placed her order online. He had attitude and didn't want to listen as she repeatedly told him to add 2 bags of chips to her order. After going back and forth with her about what he knows, he finally got it glanced at the receipt and said, "oh, that wasn't part of the order". Finally, we began placing our order. We ask if we can REPLACE the salami with more turkey. His arrogant attitude wouldn't allow him to simply say no. He acted as though he didn't understand what replace meant. He felt it necessary to say that's what extra turkey means and it will cost you $1 and change more. He obviously wasn't listening or comprehending our question either so we said nevermind. Our daughter was still charged for extra turkey. The wraps were made hugely different, though we all ordered the same thing. I guess it's good our daughter got extra turkey because ours hardly had any. Our daughter had an excessive amount of peppers while mine and my husband's had none. Both, my husband and my wraps tasted like a plain salad while our daughter's wrap was overwhelmingly spicy, to her. She had enough peppers she could've put some on mine and still have enough to share with her Dad too. The food was okay but not worth $10-$12 per wrap. They need someone else that knows how to communicate and work with customers, they need more staff to assist with food prep while one assists customers and another continually fulfills orders. There were only 4 customers, 2 with their family of 3. No way it should have been a 10+ minute wait before the 1st customer got any attention. Not the worst experience but 1st impressions mean a lot. Based on my 1st experience, I wouldn't go back primarily because of the guy's attitude. He made me want to leave but our daughter found them online and wanted to...
Read moreI am very unimpressed with the service and quality of this location, as it has severely diminished since it was first opened. I'm not sure if there is new management, or what the problem is, but it's just less than satisfactory. This place must be managed by El Cheapo Grande, because the last two times I have went here, they either 1) Don't provide you with napkins, or 2) When asked, will give you ONE napkin. Also, interesting observation...I was standing behind a man who clearly asked for hot peppers to be on his sandwich, apparently they either didn't hear him, or forgot to put them on (which appears to be a common practice here), and when he asked for a side, they refused it, claiming that they DO NOT do sides. I was standing behind the poor gentleman when he asked, it wasn't his fault that you guys made a mistake. Bravo, for the terrible customer service provided on that specific occasion. The sandwiches keep getting skinnier and skinnier, but the prices are still the same. You can head down the street a little further to Dibella's and get a real sub, or even head over to Subway or Wegmans. Any of those places will run circles around this dump. About the only thing that this place can pride itself on, is the speed in which they make their sandwiches. They usually have about 6 employees (not including their delivery personnel) working simultaneously. Maybe if they reduced their operating expenses a little, they could show a little more love to their customers? Just...
Read moreOn July 27 I placed an online order at 8:30 pm. I was aware that they closed at 9pm, yet my order was placed and confirmed through email. I leave in the greece area which takes about 20 25 minutes to get there. Speeding I got there 8:50 with the doors already locked. I attempted to call inside while standing at the door as the worker's watch me and kept cleaning. I left figuring that since they didn't respond to me at the door that the subs weren't made or wouldn't be charged because they weren't picked up. This brings me to today where I noticed that I was indeed still charged. I called and explained this to Chris the owner. He told me he'd look at the tapes to confirm. Later in the day he called saying he refunded the money. Before the conversation was over I told Chris I was a business owner myself and your not offering anything as an inconvenience?! How was I charged for something that wasn't provided. A simple and sincere apology woulda suffice. Chris ran on a tangent speaking in a condescending manner. Saying that conversation wasn't over when he clearly was finished with said conversation. Now I say we'll what's the end o conversation for him to offer me a free sub. I kindly refused and told him I just wouldn't frequent his spot again.. So Chris how many others have you guys done like this only noticed review my bank statements. I wouldnt reccomend because if the owner attitude is shitty he doesnt respect me or my money...
