I pulled up to the drive-thru and ordered two double chalupa boxes. Upon making it to the window and paying, the worker informed me that instead of receiving double chalupas in the boxes, I'd only be getting regular chalupas because the fryer was broken. I asked if the double was the same size as the regular and the worker told me that the double was bigger, then when I pointed out I'd be getting less food for the same price proceeded to tell me "No, it's the same amount of food." After a long day, rather than sit in the rain and argue with a drive-thru worker, I simply took my food and left. When I got home and looked at the boxes, it was very clear that the chalupas I received were (unsurprisingly) about half the size of the double chalupa. I also noticed that I had been given a 10% senior discount on my bill that was never mentioned by the worker, leaving me to pay 90% of the price for only about 75% of the food. Under normal circumstances I like to give the benefit of the doubt to food service workers and may have even accepted that discount for only getting a regular chalupa if I was asked, but what is truly unacceptable is having a customer pay for food then telling them that they will not be receiving what they paid for. It's nobody's fault that the fryer wasn't working, but the simple solution is to inform us of that prior to paying and allow us the decision of whether we want to pay for what you can offer us. Asking if we wanted an extra taco in each box would have left us satisfied, but instead I am left typing up...
Read moreRolled chicken tacos are a delight, one I can only have when it's on the menu once a year. When they're on the menu, it's the only thing I order other than maybe a drink or a side. I've been talking about their return for MONTHS, hoping I'll stop in and see them on the menu. Today was my day. Full of excitement, I ordered two four-packs of tacos, totalling eight tacos. I'm pumped. On the way home, I stick my hand in the bag and sneak one. It's cool, I'll still have seven more when I get home. When I get home, I go to unbag my prize... To find two two-packs of tacos. I was charged full price, and I had four things of cheese, but the rest of my tacos were not present. I was crushed. Still am. I cannot overexaggerate how excited I was about these tacos. I hate to say it... This taco Bell has really gone downhill, the past few times I've come here I've had issues (food not present, not made correctly, wrong items) and usually I give the benefit of the doubt but four times in a row is not great. I'd rather park my car and go into the mall or drive to the Penfield location (I'm in the Henrietta area just minutes from this location). It's sad. I don't know what changed at this location but I don't think I want anything to do with it anymore. All I want is two four packs of rolled chicken tacos. Don't mess up something that comes once a year.
Two stars because the employees are usually...
Read moreI would say around a year ago this Taco Bell changed, just one random day I went there and the people at the window seemed WAY more professional and my order has been correct every time since then. Before this it was a 50/50 chance that my order was correct (I’m not singling out this store it’s literally 50/50 Chance if my order is correct at any store) and I don’t order anything complicated just no lettuce and half the time I would get home, open my food and there is lettuce on it so I throw it in the garbage I would rather starve then eat warm slimy lettuce! I have always loved Taco Bell but I stopped going very often because my order use to be wrong so often so for bunch of years I only went to Taco Bell if it was the only thing open. The Crew that is working here now is the best hopefully the owner keeps them happy and they stay a long time ive been coming to this store a lot more because my orders have been correct again every time for about the past year also the food has tasted better almost fresher over the past year! Idk if every store has changed like this store I have only been going to this store because the service has been so great over the past year so I don’t wanna speak for the other stores. Thanks, keep up...
