I’ve been coming here since my family and I moved to the area back in 2018. We were stoked to have a bagel spot so close by and at the time the food was great. Although, as the years went on the food started to become lack luster but never terrible, so we continue to return and get our bagels and other items here and there. What really puts a bad taste in my mouth is the service of one particular employee. I don’t know her name but she appears to be Latina with large eyes, dark hair, dark make up, and long nails. She is rude and unwelcoming every single time I interact with her. She seems to be bothered by the fact that she has to service a customer and god forbid you ask her a single question. I have been met with attitude, snarky responses, or a constant roll of the eye time and time again. Coming from someone who’s worked in the food service industry, this is no way to treat a customer. I understand that life outside of work still exists and people go through things but this has been a constant attitude for a good while now and it’s shameful. You don’t have to have a smile plastered on your face but you also don’t have to be so damn mean...
Read moreIt would be safer for the human population if they didn't offer side salads or pickles. Side salads are too watery and vinegary, pickles I'm pretty sure aren't even real pickles. The service is terrible. My $15 meal comes with a pickle. They did not give me a pickle, upon asking for it, the lady at the register rolled her eyes all the way back into her head and glared at me. How did I insult her to provoke such a reaction? She then proceeded to say, "you were waiting this whole time for a pickle"? Did I pay for it or not lady? These people are extremely unprofessional and rude. Do not recommend coming here and wasting your money on mediocre food. They also pretend they can't hear you when you order, making ordering your food...
Read moreGreat bagels! This is now my go-to bagel shop. I have not been disappointed with their food or service. They get pretty crowded especially on weekend mornings but they have a lot of employees and the line moves fast so don't be discouraged by the crowd. Genuine NY style bagels are hard to come by outside of NY so when I visit family out of state, I bring Everything Bagels with me and they LOVE them. I'm not sure if their excitement upon my arrival is for me or the bagels. UPDATE: I moved to North Carolina last year and really miss my Everything Bagels. The bagels down here in NC are a pathetic attempt to copy the genuine chewy delicious NY bagel. When family visits Long Island, they are required to bring back a...
