Brunch Sayville — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Went here last weekend with my boyfriend and we loved it!! Initially i had suggested going here specifically because when it opened, i heard it was really cute and quaint. That it was!! I'm a brunch and latte kinda girlie, so i couldn't wait to try it out.

First, atmosphere: It's very small without having a cluttered or claustrophobic feel. It's cozy, and has a very woodsy and a bit of a dark fairy-ish theme to it. I'm an outdoorsy person so of course i loved the natural decor!

Second, food: I got the corn hotcakes with grape syrup, my boyfriend got the brunch pot pie. I really liked what i got because it was almost like a cross between thick pancakes and cornbread, and i looooooove cornbread!! The grape syrup is something I've never heard of before, but it was SO good!! My boyfriend loved what he ordered, and he's an honest food critic.

Third, waitstaff: Our waitress was very patient while we took a while to order and we appreciate that! Also, i asked for a coffee drink to be made decaf and a lot of nice places get annoyed when you ask for decaf, but this place didn't. They had no issue making my drink decaf which i was so grateful for! The decaf coffee they used was very bold and flavorful, too:D

Brianne and the rest of the staff at Brunch Sayvillle completely blew me away with their kind and positive attitude, their friendly dispositions despite a crazy Saturday rush and most of all they blew me away with the quality of the food. Everything my cousin and I ate yesterday was so amazing and so delicious. The All Day Sammie is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. My cousin loved the brown butter Ho cakes. And the pastries are out of this world. The cruffin with cannoli cream was one of the most amazing and unique things we’ve ever enjoyed. We liked this place so much we decided to come back again today, a Sunday, and grab some items to go. Once again the whole staff was spectacular and friendly and got us our to go items quickly. I am happily typing this with a delicious vanilla latte in my hands. Just an amazing experience all around at Brunch sayville. We will be back...

I went for the first time with about 20+ people. We were celebrating something special and heard how great the restaurant was. Boy, we were not disappointed. First of all, the place wasn’t huge…it’s a cozy intimate space but comfortable…and they accommodated us well. I’m sure it gets busier on weekends. Luckily, we came on a Friday. Plus, Server Gabby was a superstar in taking care of us, seemingly single-handedly. Thank you, Gabby, for giving us all such great, warm and caring service.

The food was excellent, especially the rainbow cookie croissant, which I took home for later, and the 2 specialty coffees I ordered were on-point the best I’ve had in a long time. I loved the pistachio rose latte iced. It was perfectly balanced and I love my flavors.

Some of us sat in the backyard area which was lovely.

We all had an amazing time! I’d go back...
