Haagen-Dazs — Restaurant in Town of Islip

This place has disgusted me not once but twice. The first time is when an employee of the store next door was pepper sprayed by shop lifters and they refused to give her milk stating “the manger won’t allow that” and still refusing even after offering to pay letting the poor girl roll on the floor in pain.

Today I go to get a scoop and decided to up a size to save some for later. I watched as she weighed the ice cream after scooping to make sure she was giving me an exact amout…watching her go back and forth to shave some off to get the weight to a T was offsetting but it’s business I get it

When she rang me up I asked for a top to which she checked with another employee and they both tell me I can’t have one. They stated ”the manger said we are not allowed to give out tops anymore”. When I asked why they said just because. I stated how that are no sense as I’m saving it for later and they where standing next to 2 large stacks of tops and even pointed out that the display shows a top. It was so weird to see how they looked at each other almost in fear while reluctantly putting the top on Aitah for asking for a top? I feel like I got them in trouble!!

I had a very disappointing experience. I was given something I did not order, and when I pointed out the mistake, the cashier—a blonde-haired woman—told me she could not prepare what I actually wanted because she gets charged for it. This was despite the fact that she never asked me for my order in the first place. Just went for a simple water and a red bull employee said the water was $1 and red bull $3.
