Sammy Malone's — Restaurant in Town of Lysander

I've lived in Baldwinsville for over a decade, but had never been here. I stopped in with friends on a Sunday right when they opened.

The staff member working the bar was very nice and was hustling. He was the only person interacting with customers. We were the first ones there but the place was packed by the time we left 1.5 hours later.

We placed our orders at the bar for food was requested. Everything came out at different times. One order came out a full 45 minutes street everyone else's.

There were several issues with the food and drinks for all of us. The San Adams Summer Ale didn't taste right and was flat off the tap, one order came out completely wrong, and my create-your-own salad (a listed menu item) came out lacking three of the items I ordered.

The staff member at the bar took our orders correctly; we could see what he wrote down on the ticket. The issues are clearly in the kitchen.

Wanted to like this place, nice view of the river. Hubby and I thought we'd try a new place for lunch on a beautiful sunny winter day. Drinks were fine, food absolutely horrendous. Worst wings ever, (didn't really think it was possible to ruin wings). Bland bland bland, not even close to being cooked properly, with sauce dumped over the top. Husband ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, smallest cheeseburger EVER!!! I've ordered burgers from the kids menus at restaurants that were triple the size of this thing!! Seriously, how difficult is it to make a decent sized cheeseburger for $9.00???? I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich, still wondering where the pesto was located, completely tasteless sandwich. Server was pleasant enough, said the sandwich came with chips and it came with a small bag of chips. Could've had a much better meal from Byrne Dairy or Speedway for a whole lot less $$. Don't...

The bartender has no access to the cameras and if you were over charged, maybe making a call to the owner would correct the issue. In response to Laura Henry.....
