Updating my last 1 star to a 4. Staff and service get a 5 for always being polite, professional and consistent with orders always correct. I look forward to my visits to this place and ordering vegan breakfast.

Docked one star because of the manager. I’m sure I’m not the only one with a similar level of customer service from him, as seen from his snarky responses to negative reviews.

I came on a busy day and he saw me and made eye contact with me while I was waiting more than an hour for a small order. Not only did he avoid me while helping literally everyone else around me keeping them updated multiple times and asking what their wait was for, but after I finally did get hold of him he told me my order would be expedited and was coming right out. I had to wait for another 30 minutes while poppy bagels were in the oven because I was told that a fresh batch would be ‘coming right out’. I even asked to switch my order onto another kind of bagel that was available but he insisted the poppy bagels would be right out. A batch of poppy did come out while I was waiting - but my order didn’t come out with that batch, but newer more recent orders were fulfilled. I had to wait for the next batch. I really wanted to like the bagels here but unfortunately, I didn't. I have been here three times. First time the ordering process was confusing, but after figuring it out, you know how it works the next time. Staff was very friendly. I consider myself somewhat of a bagel connoisseur. I consistently seek out bagel stores and am thrilled to try new ones as well as many of my old favorites (you can see some of them in my other reviews). I also want to support local businesses, which is why I am giving this location three stars as opposed to a lower review. I want a bagel that I can enjoy plain. In my view a bagel should stand on its own when served fresh out of the oven. While the bagels here were huge, I found them rubbery/doughy without much in the way of flavor, especially on the inside. I am a huge fan of raisin bagels and had rarely experienced a raisin bagel before that was so lacking in flavor. I also had the plain and the egg bagel. This place has fantastic bagels and sandwiches but the only issue i have with this place is the staff is not very friendly and the service is really, really, really slow when you order pickup. I ordered 4 sandwiches and had a pickup time of 10:57am i arrived a little early for my pickup (which i did not expect to be ready yet) but when i asked about my order they couldnt find it and appeared like they had to reprint the ticket and start the order. I ended up waiting an extra 20 min past my pickup time. As i waited i watched people come in and out with bigger pickup orders than mine was and watched people come in, order food in line, and leave so i know inperson ordering is quick. The only reason im giving such a low score is strickly based on pickup orders, this is not the first time this has happened. They have a pickup order shelve but its never in use, i have to ask where my order is (Most of the time waiting in a line of customers who ordered in person) and then wait for someone to go find my order. I order food online to skip waiting and talking to people, this is not what i expect...
