Best pizza in Utica/Rome-Terrible Cashier! Next time I will text a mugshot of the person I send to pick up and a copy of my driver's license! Partner spent 10 minutes arguing with cashier that the pizza & wings he saw ready on the shelf were ours when she insisted they were not. Somehow the name I gave on the phone was not the one she wrote down and definitely not the one he gave her. So she gave him a really hard time acting suspicious etc even though he told her what was in the order because somehow she also missed the "boneless" part of "boneless honey BBQ wings". Pizza maker ended up intervening and saying everything else was right and cashier actually told him to get back making the pizza because the "large extra cheese and mushrooms" wasn't ready yet. Props to him for staying calm and pointing out that was what we ordered and it was on the shelf with the wings. She didn't even have the grace to apologize, to my partner or the pizza maker! At least she gave my partner the food because I can't get out of the car and set things right with my foot in a cast & on crutches. I get it that people are hard to understand on bad phones, people pull pranks, etc and she was trying to prevent an incident where I come in wanting to know where my food is. But meanwhile the pizza and wings are getting cold and we have a 35 minute drive home. So unfortunately I will not be going out of my way for this awesome pizza again anytime soon. I wanted a treat after a long day of appointments and I eventually got it. But I'm not going to become the next Karen meme because I am being a pain in the butt on the phone, bugging the order taker to make sure they got it right...

Not the best, but genuinely not the worst, still a place I come to a lot because genuinely, I do like this place, a lot. Hey, it's... yeah, the food's not the best I've had, mainly because it can be pretty inconsistent and not entirely the most presentable. But honestly, it's definitely not the worst I've had, either. It's pretty good to be genuinely honest. I really think the pizzas gotten better, really. And their deal for $1.25 per slice of pizza on Thursdays is an incredible deal. Incredible. And the pizza slices are huge, and actually.

The pizza was great last time. It's.. yeah, don't expect Michellin, of course; but lord, the deals are great, especially for people who struggle with having enough money to get by. And this is a pretty great place to enjoy yourself in a nice aesthetic with people or by yourself.

There's also a pretty nice bar room, but that place gets su p er busy at night. So when you go to go to the bar at night, be aware that it's going to be full of people. But it was pretty fun.

So yeah, overall, it really isn't that shabby of a place. Really.

I still come back because I did like my experience. Again, food needs improvement in some aspects depending on what you get, but hey, it's. Not terrible at all. Some of the food is amazing. And the pizzas gotten better, to the point I really genuinely...

My husband and I have ordered take out here many times in the past but decided to dine in today. That was a mistake. We ordered our food at the counter (med pizza and 10 wings), grabbed two high chairs for our 1 year old twins, and found a table. Upon putting our kids in the seats we realized they had no lap restraints! So they spent most of the time sitting on our lap for safety reasons. We cleared one of the two tables we had pushed together so the food could be put out of reach of our squirming children... or so we thought. The waitress brought the pizza out first and set it right next to our kids and let us know it was hot. Of course our kids immediately started reaching for the hot tray. We quickly moved the tray away and gave her an incredulous look. Luckily no one was hurt. Then about 10 minutes later she brought out the wings. We learned our lesson after the pizza tray incident so my husband reached out to grab the basket from her. Once again sets the hot basket directly in front of our kids. I’m pretty unhappy with this experience and won’t dine in again. I gave two stars because the food was good even if the...

My co-workers opted to go for pizza during lunch last Tuesday for one dollar slices. I was hesitant, but decided to join everyone. Please refer to the photo, what the... Yes, I didn't realize it was charcoal until I took that bite. It's laughable at the highest order this establishment is called Pizza Boys; one would think with such a bold claim--you'd be competent in making pizzas. Regardless if we paid a dollar or a nickel for slices--there are standards that must be adhered to! Three orders, two chicken slices were nuked and the four pepperoni slices were undercooked. It takes some skills to be worse than frozen pizza. This was why I was hesitant to go to Pizza Boys in the first place. They just don't care enough, or care at all; how else can this be explained? The last time I was there was last summer, and it was for riggies. I pointed out to the cashier that a fly landed on the pizza in the window. Instead of throwing out that slice, they shooed the fly away as if it was nothing... I now stand confirmed, they don't care.

Used to love this place but it's not the same anymore. Take heed from all the people reiterating the same sentiments. Staff needs training on how to properly take orders and I've come to realize after reading some other reviews that they treat a costumer as an inconvenience. After receiving the wrong pizza (I ordered and confirmed that I wanted crispy chicken gold dust pizza) I called back to inform them of the situation and was asked if they could just credit my account 10 dollars when I told them I still needed to eat and wanted the pizza I ordered. Cue the curtness from merely wanting what I paid for. But at least they were gonna bring me a pizza so I could eat. When I did get my replacement it was soggy and doe was not even cooked through. Do yourself a favor please don't be treated like an inconvenience and then given less than acceptable customer service 🙏 go to Big Jay's or Venice or cappos or even Tony's they won't leave a bad taste in your mouth 🙃
