Was here on a Saturday night for a birthday party few weeks ago. The waitress only started working there a couple of weeks so we accepted that she couldn't readily answer some general questions, BUT she was not very friendly, hardly smiled and looked so miserable - we weren't sure if this was her nature or she didn't like us. The place is overpriced for food and drinks. Let's start with drinks. WAs looking forward to a bourbon drink UNTIL, they priced their old fashioned at $22!!. This is insane. The bourbon was angel envy- we weren't talking about even higher end , "hard to find" bourbons like Stagg, Weller or EH Taylor. I didn't order it, so I wound up ordering the lowest priced glass of red wine on the menu. It was ok. Next up- the food. Table decided to order two pizzas as appetizers, one with prosciutto the other regular,. Overpriced, small pizzas for $22. Now you would think since they have brick oven it would be tasty. Both had no flavor and the dough on both was just terrible in flavor and texture. Also overpriced. with pasta being $30 on the low end. There were two cavatelli dishes offered with eggplant - one baked one not. I ordered the one not baked, but got the baked anyway. There was hardly any eggplant in the dish. At this point of night, I was too spent to say anything and just ate it. I will give props for it being a good dish, basically sauce laden, mozzarella melted where's waldo eggplant- but not for the price. Really wanted chicken scarpariello but again- over priced at $39. Finally the end of night with dessert. EVERY dessert, including one Cannoli was $12. $12 for one Cannoli!!. So because there were 9 of us, getting one dessert each was nuts. SO, we ordered one of their Nutella pizza desserts- which the whole thing was $12 versus one slice or piece of something being $12. AND, of course this dessert, despite having the option of being saved by Nutella tasted bland and the dough was the same as the regular pizza. Between the over priced drinks and food and some bland food eaten, this is one place I won't be...
Read moreOur experience at this Italian pizzeria was nothing short of remarkable! We showed up past their closing hours, weary and famished, only to be welcomed with warm smiles and open arms. The staff displayed a rare commitment to customer service, accommodating us even at such a late hour.
Their team radiated a genuine friendliness that immediately made us feel at home. It was as though we were embraced by an Italian family, sharing a meal at their hearth, rather than customers in a restaurant. This authentic warmth and hospitality are what sets this place apart.
The star of the evening, of course, was the pizza itself. True to its Italian roots, the pizza was a symphony of flavors, expertly orchestrated. The crust had the perfect balance of crispness and chew, the sauce tasted as though it was crafted from the sweetest vine-ripened tomatoes, and the cheese—oh the cheese—melted perfectly, tying everything together.
Everything about this pizzeria exuded authenticity, from the delectable pizza to the cordial staff. This isn't just a pizza place—it's a culinary adventure transporting you straight to Italy, and a testament to the beauty of Italian cuisine and hospitality. It's a place you absolutely must experience. We cannot recommend it...
Read moreI went here Friday,April 7, 2018 due to a friends recommendation. I met Erica the bartender who was very friendly, personable, polite, patient and gracious. She stated that the menu was new and she was still getting familiar with it. I ordered the appetizer with 3 cheeses along with prosciutto, mortadella and dried sausage. The platter came out with everything I ordered along with fresh sliced apples, pears and figs. Everything was delicious and the prosciutto was fresh and not salty. I was curious about an item on the menu called Speck. Erica was very courteous and accommodating and she found out for me that it was a type of bacon. Erica kept checking on me to see if I was satisfied with the Cabernet I ordered along with the appetizer. Erica understands and embraces excellent customer skills and relations. Armando the manager came over and introduced himself to me. Armando is a true classy gentleman, who truly cares about customer satisfaction. He makes an overwhelming conscientious effort in managing the restaurant. I will definitely be back again,
