Mr Chen's Chinese — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately, the customer service was a huge disappointment. The lady at the front had an obvious attitude problem—perhaps she was having a bad day, but that’s no excuse to be so rude to customers.

When I simply asked for prices, she got annoyed and dismissive, as if it was an unreasonable request. Her tone and attitude were so unwelcoming that I immediately canceled my order and walked out. If a business expects customers to spend their money, the least they can do is provide basic courtesy and transparency.

It’s a shame because I was willing to give this place a try, but after this experience, I won’t be returning. Customer service matters, and this restaurant seriously needs...

I had to post this review today 5/26/23. I purchased food from this place before and it tasted very good. My problem is with the rude female worker with blonde hair and her stinky, ugly attitude. This woman is straight up prejudice and she can't even try to hide it. This woman was about to get slapped on a beautiful day. The spirit of the Lord helped me to stay strong and walk away. But if she continues to serve and treat others in a disrespectful way like she Treated me, something terrible is going to happen to her. The next victim may not walk away!!!! Came in for lunch, ordered 2 lunch specials and didn’t get my soups for both orders and took a can of coke-cola instead. She made a big deal and changed me $5 for the can of soda which is not the ultimate problem. Main problem even in the end I paid the $5 for the can of soda , she belittled me in front of other customers.
