Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Town of Oneonta

So this one night I was scrounging for a late night Scooby doo looking sandwich. So I looked for local places on the web and I found this place “Jersey Mikes” they call it. I was skeptical at first wondering who’s Mike and is he from Jersey (subtle foreshadowing) ? So anywho I went on my expedition, and when I arrived at this glorious place my mouth started to water. The staff was so welcoming and I was astonished on the enormous selection of meat they had. They had everything from Ham all the way to Salami. I ended up requesting the Italian, now when I ordered this I was worried the sopranos were gonna show up but luckily it was just a fat juicy sandwich for a reasonable price. The sandwich was suggested by none other than the man slicing the meat Josiah. The man was a legend and a scholar when it came to the knowledge of his meat and the other products offered there. After all the great help from the staff it was time to head home and gorge this sandwich down my gullet and let me tell you some information about this sandwich, it was the most juicy, meaty, and cheesy sub I’ve ever had and it was made with love. I usually really like Jersey Mike's and their food, but this location is really badly run. When we went in there was only 1 person ahead of us in line and we waited 10 minutes for someone to even take our order. It apparently took 3 people to make the one person's sub. Once we had our order in, it took probably 20 minutes to get all of our subs, then another 15 minutes for their register to take our gift cards that we were paying with. While we were waiting, a large group of college students came in behind us and waited for 20-30 minutes, only to be told when they got up to order that the restaurant had run out of bread. How a sub place can run out of bread I am not sure. Instead of telling the students up front that they had no bread, they wasted their time and didn't tell them until they went up to order. It didn't seem like any of the employees really knew what they were doing and there was no manager taking charge of the situation at all. There were people waiting for online orders who were there when we got there and still waiting after we left. The food is 5 stars but the service at this particular location...

I asked what kind of tuna was available, either white or light. They had no idea what I was talking about about. I explained some more as to help them look at the can it comes in. Well guess that made them mad. Then tried to order tuna on a rosemary sub roll. She rolled her eyes and said we're out of rosemary. I ordered a giant #7 (mikes famous Philly) asked to add bacon. Was charges for ONE piece of bacon. Then apparently we aren't allowed to order extra veggies on hot subs. Another sub was ordered. Giant chx bacon ranch. Was given a regular with again ONE piece of bacon. The only thing I can say nicely is their establishment has been clean each time I've gone in. They are disorganized. Rude.
