Never been here before and definitely did not feel welcomed. We were told to sit anywhere and a server would be right with us. It was dinner time and slow for them considering it was a large place and only a hand full of people were in at the time. We sat for several minutes while our server looked at us, making eye contact across the room and never came over. who kept looking at us and talking to the rest of the staff in there little corner together. After getting up to walk over and ask for a drink we immediately lost our seat to 2 people who were immediately helped by a server. Why did the servers not come over to help us but helped the people who took our seat? We had a feeling why but who knows. The way this place works the orders are set to the table number and are ordered by QR scan. if the server never comes over. They don’t know who ordered they just bring it to the table. So now we clear up with the Bartender that our table was taken and served after we had been waiting. The bartender looked barley old enough to Bartend and looked annoyed at me for explaining the situation and our slight dissatisfaction. When we placed the drink orders he was completely refusing to make what we asked and kept suggesting we order what the specialty was. We did not get what we ordered just 2 random drinks that were close enough. We were not given utensils or napkins when the food finally came out. We had to get up to bring the server over to our table since they didn’t understand that they had already made us feel confused, unwelcome and as if they didn’t care for our business. After the first round of drinks I walked to the bar to ask if the table tab is separate from the bar tab. The bartender asked if I wanted to open a bar tab and I said yes bring us 2 of this simple drink that shouldn’t take 20 min to make like the first round was. I wanted to tip the bartender for being the only person to acknowledge us in the whole place but he was rude too. So I reluctantly tipped as he came over with our 2nd round and asked us to close the tab now. This was a very uncomfortable, confusing, frustrating experience. You get the vibe that they are just cruising through their shift and only help who looks like they have money. Little did they know they missed out on lots of repeat business and a bigger tip due to their laziness and lack of hospitality. It made the vibe go from relaxing to I don’t feel comfortable...
Read moreThe waitress charged us the burger that they took back. My family didn't know they charged me for both and paid the bill.
When I pointed out that she took back the first burger and brought another one saying her manager said okay. The waitress said she charged me for both burgers because I ordered both burgers.
Again I pointed out that, "But you took it back."
If I know you're going to charged me for both, I would have kept it and let the guys eat it.
Please note, allergy is not a preference, but is a very serious health conditions that can cause tremendous problem to the people who have allergic reaction to certain food or spices. I told the waitress that I allergic to peppers and spicy stuff like people allergic to peanuts. I got ro have no pepper and no spicy in my food.
And the second burger was spicier that the first. I didn't eat it. For $16, it is a very expense mistake. After we left, my family realized I was given a spicy burger wrongfully because, my second burger has avacado, which is a spcit burger. They reodered a wrong burger for me. They reorder the spicy burger that son had ordered. After paying the expensive burger, gave the waitress $10 tips for two burgers, I still do not have a burger that I could eat.
That manager stopped by and helped out. She explained and showed the waitress how to process the order with only one burger instead of charging two. Unbelievable. If I didn't check the reciept, we would have walked out paying for one burger I did not have, paying for a second burger I could not eat d gave.them a $10 tip.
Then the staff from the kitchen kept looking at me with a very unhappy look. Please explained to your staff that when customers returned something because they are allergic to it, it is not because the customer is being picky. It was because of allergic reaction that can cause pain and serious problem for both the customer and...
Read moreHave been to the The Brickhouse 3 times with my wife and friends. All 3 times we went for dinner they were OUT of the ribs! 2 times they were out of the brisket and other BBQ food and most of us ended up ordering the pulled pork which we all thought was dry, not fresh and below average. Also service is very slow even with the place half full and strangely they are always out of several Menu items which happens to be what we want to eat. Food also takes FOREVER to come out. The worse for me was when I ordered my favorite (top shelf) whisky on the rocks and got very little alcohol. Even with the small glass full of ice the liquor only went half way up the glass. I went up to the bartender and told him my drink had very little whiskey in it. He shows me a small 1-ource shot glass and says that's what they "normally pour". I asked him if he knows how much he is supposed to pour in a "neat" drink (I don't think he knows what "neat" is) and he repeated what he told me. I told him it's supposed to be 2 ounces - twice what he was pouring, and for coctails it's 1.5 oz. He says "I don't know about that...". It was obvious this so called bartender never went to bartender school, and had no proper training to even know the basics before they put him behind the bar. This restaurant is a big FAIL for me and many of our friends who said they won't go back. We gave it 3 chances because we like the interior, but they kept letting us down. Probably OK for pizza and beer (hence the 2 stars, 1.5 really) and younger people, but their entrees are nothing to write home about, and even their draft and bottled beer was not cold enough, so this is 1 place we have scratched off our...
