Turiello's Pizza House — Restaurant in Town of Orangetown

I’d rate negative 1 star if I could. They are very LAZY to sum them up! Called ahead during the evening and asked what are their dine in hours. Was informed that dine in was until 11pm(2300 for you military types). My family and I got there at 945pm and they were very unwelcoming and accommodating. They were in the process of putting the chairs up even as we were talking to them and informing them of our dine in intentions and that we spoke with them on the phone. The family sat down and we began to arrange the tables accordingly and I was about to place another little square table at the end to accommodate our seating and for the pizza/pasta placement. But the owner was insisting on a circle table instead saying that “it will work the same as the circle”. Then he denied to make a pasta dish that my girlfriend’s little sister wanted saying “ we can’t do that, it’s going to take 20 minutes to make and we’re only making the easy stuff because we’re closing”. I could understand that if it was past 10pm, but still it wasn’t even 10 yet. And the stuff we ordered instead took MORE than 20 min. Then as we waited for the food the owner and the entire crew were staring, they were doing the same as we were eating and they began impatiently tapping their fingers and exhaling heavily. Very rudely exhibiting their impatience with us. He was rude when me and another person from the family decided to split the bill. He basically acted like he didn’t know what or how to split it and didn’t even offer us any receipts until I asked for them. To make things worse, PAPA JOHNS is way better than this place! Ladies and Gentlemen, establishment’s such as these obviously want to get paid, yet something else is obvious about establishments like these: THEY ARE NOT...

Usually a great experience….but not so much today. Maybe this isn’t a place to order from on Mondays?

The food was absolutely stale/old. I figure, because of low projected sales (Monday), they decided to serve old food instead of preparing fresh dough. I ordered a small cheese pie with a topping and zeppoles.

These were NOT fresh. The food sat waiting for me an additional 15 minutes after it was ready. Even so, this is not a reason for zeppoles to taste stale. It was chewy!

Now, I’ve had their food many times before so I know how it should taste. This was disappointing and embarrassing because I was introducing this as “the BEST place to go for x, y, and z” to my friends.

Ordered gelato as well which was great but didn’t require them to prepare it today.

Also, please update your menu on the website or take it down. The prices are old and I was surprised when read the total. I simply paid it but of course regretted it after realizing I spent my hard earned money on...

While my experience with them has been great in the past tonight was a complete miss. We ordered two pies for delivery. We were told 45 min time frame they were well over an hour and a half. Not being from the area I ordered without seeing a menu. I asked for a veggie pizza. They sais yes we have veggie pizza. Did not tell what was on it. Just said yep. We'll make sure you ask what's on their veggie pizza!! It comes with Broccoli and Spinach...that's it!!! It was GROSS!!! The Broccoli was mush and spinach you couldn't tell it was on the pie. Called in to talk with someone about the mix up and was told nope that's our veggie pizza. Sorry for your mistake. In checking the menu after the fact they do offer a stuff crust veggie that has more veggies on it. Still not a typical veggie pie.Yep my mistake for not asking what is on a veggie pizza. What a complete waste...
