Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

This is my first review and completely worth it. We usually go to the wantagh location but had a bad experience with the manager about a year ago and when We saw the one in Woodbury we decided to dine in Friday night. Every single thing went right and we believe it was because of our waitress. Bridgette was attentive and so sweet. She greeted us at the door, noticed my husband was limping a little and helped him to the table that she let us pick due to his walking. The way she presented herself, we thought she was the manager, Just so happens she was our waitress. She was constantly sitting people down at tables and running to the bar and making drinks. We noticed other staff asking for her help and she was everywhere. Doing all that, she still made us feel like we were her only table even though we could see she had much more. She told us about the new wings and signed us up personally for the rewards number. We have been going to wantagh for years and didn’t even know there was a program ! We ordered a $10 pizza pie and each got a martini that she made right at the bar and poured right at our table and they were delicious. The service was one of the best services my husband and I have ever received. She was bubbly, smiled constantly and honestly made us feel like family. She was funny, made us laugh the whole night. She took our order and double checked to make sure it was all correct, made sure we had extra plates and napkins. Brought us waters mid meal without us asking almost like she read our minds ! The food was delicious, love the sweet chili wings. We overheard another employee apologize for her loss the day prior. When we heard that it almost brought us to tears, we asked her some personal questions and told her we over heard and she let us know she had a death in her family this past week and told us she appreciated that we noticed and asked. She was honestly just a breath of fresh air, her smile lit up the room and even with her recent loss she was focused and made us feel like we were home. Delivery was a LOT more difficult than it should’ve been. I left detailed instructions in my order (although the building is not hard to find on any GPS), and the delivery person was still confused despite my explaining over text & phone, and eventually admitted he did not even speak English. When he finally got to me he was incredibly rude and told me I should not have used the address that I did, however there are literally no other addresses for this building.

Not only that, when I finally got my pizza it was completely cold (I am only 8 minutes from their store so clearly gave me an old pizza) and had the thinnest layer of cheese & toppings as if they were trying to pinch pennies. I am never wasting my money here again, what a horribly...

After reading postive reviews online. Today I went to have lunch. Restaurant is conveniently located on west bound Jericho turnpike. Parking is not a problem. I went inside and warmly welcomed by host. After reviewing the menu I placed the take out order.they have big bar with nice collection of liquors. Lots of table to dine in.due to coronavirus pandemic, all the staff wearing masks, even chefs wearing too. So, this made me more comfortable to have the food. Charcoaled wings with carmalisied onions taste so good. Absolutely delicious 😋. Pepperoni and bacon was awesome. I ordered another pie with peppers, onions, hit peppers totally mouthwatering.
