Brunch was not a good experience. First they didn't know if they offered orange juice (there are mimosa's) on the menu. Then another family's food was put in front of us, left for 2-3 minutes, we told the waiter it was not our order, and they took it and gave the same plates to the right table... after we breathed all over it for 2-3 minutes w/o masks during a pandemic. My order (egg white frittata with peppers and spinach) was made with peppers, mushrooms and asparagus. Also brunch is advertised from 11-3. At 11am they were still setting up while customers waiting and the man (possibly manager?) setting up instead of apologizing, rudely said "you'll have to give us 5 minutes" . Wake up owners/managers! Restaurants are hurting during the pandemic, and should be going the extra mile for patrons... this was not even basic good service. To be fair the food was good when all was said and done. But it takes more than that to have...
Read moreUpon arrival our merry crew were greeted by friendly staff with broad smiles and warm hearts. It was busy for a Monday evening but we never wanted for service, drink or food. The one and only Laurie came by our table to provide guidance on the best of the menu including seasonal sensations that explore the crossroads of American Fall and Italian specialties. Read moreWowowow this place is amazing. I came for dinner for my grandma's birthday with my mom and from the wait staff to the owners themselves (who checked on us twice), this was some of the friendliest, caring service I've experienced on Long Island (and in LA, where I now live). I wish I had gotten a photo of it, but we ordered the spinach and mushroom pizza with cauliflower crust (the most delectable cauliflower pizza I've likely ever had, packed with veggies sautéed to perfection), and then I ordered the seafood linguine fra diavolo, substituting zucchini noodles, which was absolutely divine. "Zoodles" often get too watery in a dish, but Chef Butera uses a special technique that limits the excess liquid when the zoodles are plated and it didn't diminish the sauce at all. My grandma comes here once a week she loves it so much, and I can see why! I would too if I...
