RE; experience with server here- “R;” R has a unique way of speaking with guests that makes her seem more like a friend than a server. Not only does that lead to an increase in her tips (I noticed many very large ones in the tip jar!...) , but it also leads to an increase in your total sales as well. The latter is important for us as we strive to help local top-notch restaurants recover from COVID-related depressed sales.
In addition to working in the front of the restaurant, it appears that R has ample experience as a cross-trainee in the back/ remaining part. I’ve notice that she takes on responsibility for helping clean the restaurant at the end of her shift. This is important during our current COVID- crisis, and is also much appreciated by us, as patrons. I would be very happy to see her move on and advance in her career in the customer service industry, where I happen to work. Btw.
