Moe's a chain. I have eaten Moe's in several States. Because of it being a chain. It's pretty consistent, you know what you're getting. I can't speak for all the food because I usually only get the homewrecker and chips. I am a man that is six one and about 190 lb. The homewrecker and chips fill me up. Always tasty. For people that are used to authentic Mexican cuisine, this isn't that. However, standing next to other fast food choices with the burgers and fries, I feel this is a healthier option. When you order from Moe's, you see and pick the ingredients you're putting in. All whole foods and real proteins. You can see the corn. You can see the olives. The meat is cooked and cut. It's nice to see this instead of the processed food

I've been to most of the Moes on the island like Greenvale, Garden City, Plainview, Oceanside and this one in Massapequa. This has to be the first time I got a skinny and cold burrito. Now its almost 1pm so there shouldn't be any cold food. (And by cold I mean not hot, not cold from a refrigerator) Now we all don't like getting service by a new hire, and that explains the skinny burrito. And to top it off when they put the burrito in the bag with the chips, it got jabbed by a chip pushing a chunk of foil into the burrito. Needless to say it was not a good lunch today. I'm sure these were all just an accident but I got the Triple Crown today. I'm still going to Moes but might Stat away from this one for a while.

I’m not sure if there is a variance between locations but wow did Moe’s get skimpy… I haven’t been to a moe’s in like a year but I went today and the lid is bigger than the bowl! I paid $20.00 for a chicken/steak bowl with queso. I know queso is extra but the portion is not conducive of the price. I will not be returning, there are so many other options.

I am not one to bash businesses but i am extremely upset with moes. Let me start with the staff, they constantly look miserable and act as if you are bothering them by placing an order. Its rare to even see one of the employees smirk. Second, they need to learn to keep their counters and tables clean along with the places where they give dips, napkins, and drinks. Now aside from all of that i got extremely sick EXTREMELY after eating there. I am totally disgusted with Moes. I have been to Moes about 5-7 times now. I haven't had many issues except some of the ones stated above (lack of cleaning) but this time..my trust has been forever broken. I went and got food from Moes with my boyfriend about 45-50 min before their closing time. I ordered a double chicken homewrecker with beans & a side of queso. They gave me the last of the chicken in the thing... guess what. Who knows how long it was sitting out for. My Bf got the same but with chicken & steak. We did not think there would be an issue since we ASSUMED they kept their food fresh. We took our burrito's home - all happy & excited to eat... As soon as we finished our burritos we felt IMMEDIATELY ILL. (I AM GOING INTO TMI PREPARE)-- 16 hours later I was violently vomiting and had terrible diarrhea.. yeah sorry tmi but be warned. Anyways, my boyfriend had all the stomach/toilet issues but no vomiting. His symptoms went away in 2 days(he was literally in the bathroom 24/7). My symptoms were bad for 2 full days but then the stomach issues lingered for 1-1.5 weeks. I was so sick and the DR said it's either some type of stomach flu or food poisoning. I will never trust moes food again. I was totally fine before eating that burrito and I don't normally get sick.My boyfriend who was completely healthy became just as ill after eating their food as well. This was definitely a case of bad food. Be careful trusting this place. I mean on the bright side the staff was really nice but they gave me spoiled food so... it doesn't make up for it. If ya go.. good luck ! I don't...

Before I left this review I tried to email the Massapequa location- undeliverable. Then I tried to call- voicemail full. This is what happened at the Massapequa location- the employees also should be made aware, especially as they leave for the night and if there’s not a no soliciting sticker visible at the door, please consider using one. I visited with my daughter and while I was paying a man appeared next to her/us from behind very quickly- no mask and very close, I’d say two feet away. I always try to be aware of my surroundings, and this was a bit disturbing- a fail on my part. He was selling perfume and oil. I became quite flustered and was debating on taking the food to go but was too scared. Without making this obvious I was hoping the employee ringing us up would ask him to leave, but he continued. It was quite uncomfortable and I became ready to disable him in order to protect my child. If he had tried to get her to smell something or met us in the parking lot after, there would have been a more serious safety concern, mostly for him and possibly for others in the vicinity. For the safety of all, please know that this is going on. Never in my life have I been paying at an establishment’s register, cash all out and had something like this happen. Does this shopping center location have security and if not, do you know how long it would take police/rescue to arrive? Please remind yourselves, your daughters, sisters, mothers, sons, employees - anyone you love not to smell anything and be ready to defend yourself...
