I also love the coffee, But I will not go back to store. I did go on the 9th of month I heard that coffee was $2 off a pound. So I was expecting it to be busy. I entered the store and there was a person that told me to go back outside and wait. Ok I did what I was told, this was my first time here. I looked in store there was only 3 people in it? the sales person came out and asked me what I wanted after a couple minutes, I said coffee. She wanted me to oder out on the sidewalk, I wanted to shop. I did know what I was looking for but I felt like this was a drive through and not a store. I will look for a different way to find this coffee, I will pay the higher price for better service.
11/10/2023 I received a note from the manager (Lex) note below.
"Hi Kyle, We do this for our sale on the 9th of every month to ensure safety for our customers and our staff. We are diligently running around the store to fill day-of orders. We put flavor lists on the window for customer convenience, as we know we have quite a few choices. If you don't enjoy this particular setup, I would suggest coming to the store on another day besides the 9th, or ordering online/ahead of the 9th to still have the sale price."

Read moreGet this one - went to Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters in Pittsford Plaza on July 8 at approximately 9:40. The barista there was extremely rude - I understand that it was close to closing time, but she could have at least acknowledged that we were waiting to get service. Instead, she continued to clean the counters. After the counters were cleaned, she proceeded to pick up her phone, and send a text!
My friend asked, "are you closed?" her reply, after rolling her eyes and giving a ton of attitude was, "NOOOO!"
We were finally served at 9:50. Mind you we were the only 2 people in the store.
This type of behaviour is inexcusable. I would never receive this type of service at one of FLCR competitors - Starbucks, Corner Bakery or Barnes & Noble. Whatever you do, do not go to the Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters location in Pittsford Plaza.
But it gets even better - I posted this review on FLCR's Facebook page on July 9th. I did not get a response. I emailed it directly to the Pittsford location 1 week later and still no response! Read moreFor a long time I used to ask the people behind the counter to make my coffee extra hot....and they usually agree until one day a young person with glasses, slim-built, (male), refused to do it and told me that he can't steam the coffee or microwave it or make a new pot! He sort of insisted in a way (straigt forward without giving realike take it or leave it.....that's after I already paid. Very embarrassing. Not friendly person to deal with at all. Undiplomatic and quite honestly arrogant. Perhaps jealousy and misery embodies his character. Yes, it could be very true.
