I purchased a bunch of items last month, including clothing and jewelry spending close to $300 for attending a family member's funeral outta town. I discovered that some items needed to be subsequently returned in the jewelry department. Upon arriving, there were quite a few people already waiting to be assisted with ONLY ONE ASSOCIATE @ counter ALREADY waiting on a customer. The Associate directed me to follow her to the main counter up front for processing my return, and upon her completing jewelry transactions, I advised I also needed to have her process another return on an article of clothing as well, submitting the same receipt. She refused, saying that I "had to get back in line?!" Needless to say there were over TEN PEOPLE IN LINE waiting to ✔️ out. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE. Especially since I purchased ALL ITEMS @ Jewelry counter to begin with! I REMAINED AT COUNTER & summoned Melissa, who was at front counter + I know her personally from working there previously, and she assisted me with NO PUSHBACK. She always exhibits professionalism. As for the other woman, NO, she def DOESN'T VALUE customers at all! Talk about having a severe case of the PTB (passing the buck) disease. Additionally, they need to have MORE STAFF on board anyway, esp THIS time of the year when folks are xmas shopping. 1 may save money, but...
Read moreABSOLUTELY THE RUDEST STAFF. My mom, my aunt, my cousins, and I were at bed bath and body works, and decided to check out TJ max. We were disappointed by the grubbiness and the overall mess, but we decided to take a chance. My younger cousins were trying to reach a toy on a high shelf, and I decided to help them out- only I knocked over a puzzle or something on the way to grab. One box- let me repeat- ONE SMALL BOX- fell to the floor. I was spotted by this woman employee, who took it upon herself to March over and lecture us all that this was not a playplace. I apologized, and put the puzzle box thingy back on the shelf. I was about to lead my cousins out of the area, when she said "stop right there, young lady! Come back here and help me clean up this mess." She said it rudely enough that it scared my little cousins away, almost in tears. I tried to explain to her, respectfully, that I only knocked over one box. The rest of the mess was already there. "WELL, I don't care. Why don't you pick up those books and organize them on the shelf?" Was how she responded. A FREAKING EMPLOYEE MADE ME HELP CLEAN UP THE WHOLE SECTION. I didn't want to cause a scene, so I helped her pick up toys and organize them for 30 MINUTES while she lectured me. I will definitely NOT be coming...
Read moreI was there earlier today to return an item I bought in late May and had the receipt for it. I thought having the receipt meant I would get the money back in the original payment but I was wrong. I was told that since it’s been past 30 days I was no longer able to get return money back in the original payment and that I had to get it back on a gift card. I understand if I didn’t have the receipt, but I kept the receipt for a reason. After that I went to look around the store, I found dog treats that were the same exact ones, but two different prices. I asked if I was able to get them both for the lower price, but evidently since they were yellow ticketed they couldn’t do anything about it because it’s the lowest price they’ll go, which I understand but why were they marked two different prices? Then as I was walking out after checking out, an employee(not sure if he was the manager or not) a taller gentleman, with glasses said “you guys are still in here?” With a snarky tone, then said “it’s been like 2 hours” why is it any of his business how long I’ve been in the store? This whole experience was such a turn off for me to the point where I’ll go out of my way to shop at a different TJ maxx. This location used to be my favorite but it’s...
