Service is always really slow and they seem to always be having an issue with their app. They also have very strange reduced hours due to a shortage in staff- troubling since they just poured all that money into their new location. Maybe they should have stuck with the way things were, I never used to have a problem before they moved to the new building. Also very disappointing that they promote themselves as such a "healthy" place to eat, and yet, all of their sandwiches come on white bread. Even the multigrain option is white bread! Soups are loaded with salt, sugar, and carbs, even the 10 vegetable soup. Not diabetic friendly at all. The only sugar free drink option is diet coke, water or black coffee. At least across the street at chick fil a I can get a grilled chicken salad with a diet lemonade- and pay half the price for a low carb meal. Something always seems to go wrong with my order since they moved locations, at least this time it was in my favor and I received an extra sandwich- but I can't eat it because the white bread jacked my glucose levels to 174. Maybe that's why my order took twice as long as everyone else's and people who ordered 10 minutes after me were taking away their food before mine was finished... P.S- their coffee subscription program is a complete joke and a waste of time. You'll wait 10-15 minutes for your "rapid pick-up" and when it's finally "ready" an empty coffee cup is placed on the shelf which you then fill yourself. If you order after 10 am, you'll find they're out of everything but decaf. This happened to me three times. I really don't know who this program is designed for, but certainly not for those on their way to work. You're better off waiting 5 minutes in the Starbucks or Dunkin drive-thru, panera's coffee sucks anyways, even if they do have the regular or dark roast you ordered. Burnt...
Read moreNice building with a great atmosphere. I've been here multiple times for takeout, most of those experiences positive, but this was the first time I'd ever sat inside- wow!
Had a steak and cheddar sandwich with a small bowl of mac, food was delicious and the bread quality on the sandwich and in my baguette was out of this world. Not too crunchy nor moist.
One thing I will say is that the staff here is a very mixed bag.... Had one lady that was a total jerk and got an attitude when asked for an extra salad dressing cup, but two of the guys were very kind and generous; especially the one at the bakery section towards the front.
Spent a good while here as it wasn't all that busy, and while there was a fair amount of background noise from the kitchen, it wasn't that distracting and I enjoyed a great meal.
Besides the one rude employee, a star was taken off due to a horrible drive-thru experience a few months ago that had me experience a 20 minute wait when the order was placed early, and then was given some of the wrong food. I also used to dislike their cookies years ago due to them being dried out, but that problem seems to have corrected itself with time. Nice! I really like this place!
I'd also like to mention that the portion sizes are noticeably bigger when you dine-in, but I don't see that as a good or a bad thing - the difference isn't that extreme, but salads especially have a lot more to them when you eat inside. Decide if that's worth it for you; I totally think going the dine-in route is worth it if you have time. And want to make the most of your money, as this chain isn't cheap. Final extra props to the fuji apple salad for...
Read moreUndate: After not being at Panera in a few years, it's still the same. So SAD!!
Where do I begin? I gave Panera five different chances, and on all five chances was a disappointment. The last was the straw that broke the camel's back. Four (non customized) breakfast sandwiches. Simple right, straight from the menu. Wrong! Every single breakfast sandwich was wrong. That's not what I ordered. I don't get it, I waited over thirty (30) minutes in store, and the freaking order was wrong. Mind you, it wasn't busy! I called when I got to my destination and let a supervisor know. She said that she could give me a gift card or refund my money. I said a gift card would be OK. The fool that I am in thinking that Panera can do better. No gift card. Instead, what I received was an e-mail apology for my long wait. What the .... Batman! So, four (4) non customized breakfast sandwiches on five different visits, and Panera still can't get it right. Moving forward, I'll stay away from the breakfast menu and hope for the best. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY, POLITE, and PROFESSIONAL, that's probably why I keep going back. PANERA, I'M NOT UPSET, JUST A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED! YOU GUYS...
