I have been bringing my mother here for over a year now every weekend, I raved to my boyfriend on how this place has been on point between service and food. We happen to always get the same waiter who is by far one of the best waiters I’ve had ever from going out to eat. His name is Noah, he has always been patient and attentitive every time we had him. This time around I order a chicken Caesar salad, I start eating and see a giant black hair in my food. We were nice about it and addressed the issue...thinking they’d compensate by not charging us. They comped us a drink but not our food, they made us a new dish but at that point I didn’t have an appetite and asked to be boxed up. Their reasoning for not comping the food is because we technically are taking it home....we asked for them to knock it off our bill and the poor waiter was told by management that it is taken out of his pay and he had to pay out of pocket. THIS IS NOT the waiters problem, this is the kitchen and managements problem. Very unprofessional how they handled this situation. We ended up tipping our waiter the food price that they made him pay for on top of his tip. I don’t suggest coming here, they lost regular customers...

Myself, my brother and our girlfriends made the mistake of coming here for food and drinks during happy hour. The east side of the bar was really crowded and we couldn’t get the bartender’s attention so we went to the other side (not knowing there was a private event going on there). Shortly after going to the west side of the bar we met the most rude, impolite, and short tempered employee at any restaurant we’ve ever been to in our entire lives. This woman, who happened to be a manager, treated us as if we just robbed her bar at gunpoint!! “YOU NEED TO LEAVE, LIKE NOW!!!!”. We had no intention of breaking any rules, we just happened to be at the wrong area of the bar. A simple “Hey guys, would you mind staying on the other side of the bar? This is a private party” would have got the job done. This woman reminded me of those crazy managers on Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares. Here’s a friendly reminder, you are in the service industry!!! What were you trying to accomplish by being so rude? We were not stealing and we are not underage, but you sure did treat us like we were.

I highly recommend going to Perabell, or Cliff’s Rendezvous instead...

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch (3:40pm). We heard the burgers are really good. Started the meal with an appetizer of a dozen chicken wings, 6 hot & 6 Jerked. The wings were very good. The meals, My wife had a cheese burger with onion rings, I had the New York BEC with SPK and fries. The fries were probably the best I have had on Long Island. Super crunchy and very TASTEY. The BEC with SPK was also delicious. Be aware, they wrap it and cut it in half on the plate which was something I wasn’t expecting. I can easily palm a basketball so the half of burger was like eating a nugget. Food was really good but lost 1 star for the simple reason. My wife ate her entire meal which NEVER happens, and I left still feeling hungry which also never happens when we eat out. I never have room for desert and my wife always leaves with something to take home but this was the exception. First time for everything I guess. Bill came to $70 for the 2 of us which is not really that bad, just wish the portions were a little bigger. They have a big patio area out back that will surely pack out when the...

I was on a mission for chicken wings, so we stopped in to Diggers. The atmosphere was friendly, our server Christian’s srvice was on point, and made the suggestion to also get the marinated steak medallions on our Caesar Salad. We ordered a dozen, and the chef allowed us to get half drums in the hot, and the other half flats in medium. They were delicious! The Caesar Salad was huge and topped with the steak medallions, which was generous. We also had a side of fries that were served wonderfully crispy. Love this place in downtown Riverhead!

Came to watch the soccer match. But they played boring old country music over a EURO quarterfinal between Spain and Germany, what a match. It was empty... and 2 parties were watching the game. The nice thing would have been to play the audio but instead we got country music so 1/5 for atmosphere. The pulled pork nachos were tasty and it was a large portion also, could be shared as an appetizer. The lemonade was heavily watered down with a chemical after-taste. Also there was no service, so that was confusing.
