Never been to a restaurant, let alone a dingy little diner, that sat parties containing one person extra over the party that had been previously waiting, and this happened twice. I get trying to make more bang for your buck, but when the whole place is old booths and a dirty counter, it’s sort of a bad business practice to turn away, and blatantly disrespect customers. You don’t think it’s strange to show your customers you seek out more money from each of their tables? Three can come right in, but one or two? Left to stand in ice cream corner of this “diner” until the teenagers working there decide you’re up. You go one day, you have a great time and an amazing meal. You go the next day, you’re met with juvenile workers turning you away because you won’t be buying more food than the people still getting ready at home. Read moreSo excited to try this little "americana diner" fresh homemade ice cream... we waited 10 minutes to be seated but finally got seated. Was handed 2 menus and some utensil packs. We then sat at the table and watched 3 other families get seated and served drinks before anyone even approached us. My husband finally asked me to leave. We walked out and as I stood up one of the girls said have a good day and I said we weren't even served. She seemed surprised and said I'll serve you but my husband was already out the door.
