Harpoon Eddie's at 611 Park Avenue, Sylvan Beach, N.Y., offers an exceptional dining experience with a variety of delicious dishes and a charming atmosphere. The personal pizzas, especially the Margarita pizza, are the perfect size with a perfect crust and a delightful balance of cheese and pineapple.
The garlic parmesan fries are truly the best fries I've ever had. They have a satisfying crunch on the outside, are soft on the inside, and are perfectly flavored with parmesan, making them a must-try. The gigantic loaded french fry platter was a fantastic appetizer for our group of seven, providing a great start to our meal.
Harpoon Eddie's riggies are also a highlight. The light sauce adheres perfectly to the rigatoni, offering a mild yet delicious flavor. The accompanying side salad with Italian dressing is a refreshing complement. The three-cheese pulled pork mac and cheese is a massive dish, easily weighing around two pounds. The pork is perfectly cooked, and the generous portion of macaroni makes it a hearty and satisfying meal.
The Greek Power Bowl is another standout dish, with rice, avocado, and cucumber blending harmoniously for a delicious and refreshing meal.
The views from inside the dining area are stunning, with the beach and water providing a serene backdrop. Volleyball games often take place nearby during the day, adding to the lively atmosphere. Parking is convenient, with a smaller lot next to the restaurant and a larger lot nearby that can accommodate hundreds of vehicles.
Upon entering Harpoon Eddie's, you are greeted by a small gift shop offering branded items. The dining and bar area is spacious and often features live entertainment, adding to the vibrant ambiance. The interior is impeccably clean and well-organized, including the bathrooms.
Outside seating is plentiful, with space for around a hundred people and an additional twenty at the outdoor cabana bar. The outdoor stage offers live music, which adds to the entertainment but can sometimes be a bit too loud for comfortable conversation during dinner.
A notable feature of Harpoon Eddie's is the classic car show held every Thursday in the larger parking lot nearby. This event showcases some of the nicest cars you'll ever see and is a delightful addition to the dining experience. Even on hot days, the breeze from the water provides a pleasant cooling effect, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, our time at Harpoon Eddie's was fantastic. The combination of delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and beautiful views makes it a place we love visiting and will continue to frequent for years to come. Keep up the excellent work,...

Read morePlace is usually pretty good and a nice place to listen to music and look at the water. Wednesday was horrible. It was busy but service was extremely slow. Waitress took our order then came over to ask what I ordered because she couldn't read her own writing. It looked legible to me. She then return awhile later to say they were all out of what I ordered and asked me to order something else. So I ordered a sandwich and asked it to be on a roll and not a panini. She said that was fine. Everyone got their order (daughter's salad dressing was wrong) and I received mine after everyone was finishing. It was a panini not a roll but waitress took off before I could respond. After tracking down waitress I explained it was supposed to be on a roll, she asked if she could bring me something else. Since everyone was done I said no, but if she could bring a to go box because someone at home would probably eat it and if the bill could reflect the error. She came back like 10 minutes later asking if her manager stopped by. I said no. She said manager said if I take it with me they have to charge me. I handed it back to her. Really? Were they planning on re-serving it to...
