This location does not take food allergies seriously, please beware.
Upon using the drive-thru I notified the staff of my cherry allergy, it causes anaphylaxis, so I take it seriously. I ordered the Lavender-Matcha drink. I took a sip and my throat started to burn and my skin became itchy. After parking, freaking out for a few minutes, and taking Benadryl I go inside the store and ask for a manager. He's kind at first, once I explain the situation he gets more serious, I ask him to remake the drink and he says no problem.
At this point I realize I never got an apology or even an "are you okay?" So I tell the manager "it's a life threatening allergy." "Yeah, I know" and he walks off to talk to an employee to tell them to remake the drink. The employee then blames the fact the cherry and lavender powders were unlabeled. The manager checks, and they were in fact labeled. The employee then makes the drink. I then ask "just to clarify, this is lavender and not cherry correct?" The employee then slams the drink on the counter, does a cartoonishly big eye roll and says "yes it is the right drink" under their breath before walking away. I then asked the manager for a copy of my receipt because I could tell they did not care about my health in the slightest and were just trying to get through the shift.
I called the corporate number to let them know about my experience, they were horrified and I just asked to speak to a district manager for an apology. I am transferred to another woman who realizes the legal nightmare above and is too busy trying to protect the company legally to help me and get me my one request, an apology. Eventually I am told the district manager will call me in "24-48 business hours." I'm sure that will happen after they interview the manager, employee, check the receipt, and check the cameras.
I am concerned for the safety of customers with food allergies in the mean time since it is something this location does not take seriously in the slightest, so I felt I should post...
Read moreThe worst Starbucks in America! If you are passing through, just keep driving and find another Starbucks. Unfortunately I live in the area so Iâm stuck going from time to time.
It is not managed well, everyone needs to be retrained. They sit the orders on the counter and walk away without calling your name so every one has to walk over to see if itâs their drink. When they put the drinks down, they down face the label where you can read it so everyone has to touch the drinks to see who it belongs to. When you order food, they make all the food at once and bring over ten orders at a time instead of bringing a few orders over as things are in the oven so some orders are fresh and others are not. Teenagers work there on the weekends and in the summer and there are unprofessional shift managers that yell at them when they mess up and try to embarrass them instead of leading by example. If the wait time on the app says 8-11 minutes bet on 20 especially in the morning or on weekends.
Whatever experience you think of when you think of Starbucks you wonât get at this location so just keep driving unless you have no...
Read moreThis Starbucks location started out great when it first opened, unfortunately, cannot say the same, theyâre always out of everything no matter how early you get there. On certain days and times that Iâve frequent there through the drive-through. the staff is very nice I guess it depends on how theyâre feeling and how their day is starting. The sandwiches are terrible they look nothing like the photos. Total disaster theyâre missing ingredients. Whatâs the fun and the point of going to Starbucks, when theyâre not going to make the sandwiches the way that theyâre portrayed or the drinks and youâre paying all this money for a service. Starbucks is not cheap. Very disappointing because I find That most of the locations within the area are pretty much the same with not getting the orders correct or making the drinksâšď¸ itâs just not enjoyable. I guess you have to be lucky And hope the baristas are in a good mood that day and know what theyâre doing. I think Iâll save my money and make my own breakfast and...
