2/20/23- update. I was contacted immediately by local management staff. They were very apologetic and offered a re-do of my entire order on them. They do validate parking as sign states. I went back a few days ago and it was way more organized. They had a Simone checking every box order that came across. We were satisfied and will be back. Thanks Raisin Caine for making it right.

I went back a few days ago and it was way more organized. They had a Simone checking every box order that came across. We were satisfied and will be back. Thanks Raisin Caine for making it right. Decided to finally try the new location. After many attempts of dodging the very long lines. I placed an online order for pick up 2 hours in advance. Order was for 3:15. Arrived and parked in the small garage because it said “raising cain validated parking”. We arrived at 3:10 to a mobbed store. The girl managing the front door was friendly and doing the best she could controlling the entrance as well as online orders. At least 5 orders waiting in the store for the same time as me- 3:15. I asked about validation of parking and they said no we don’t do that. I told them what the sign said and the person replied “you must have read the sign wrong”. (See attached photo) At 330pm our food was brought out and we left only to pay a $8 charge for less then 30 minutes. We get home and none of the 3 meals had the cane sauce! What I disappointment. No straws for the drinks either. The food was ok. Fry’s were slightly undercooked. But for this , rather just go to rofo. Not worth the trouble to park, wait and have your order missing...
Read moreExcellent. Delicious. Never thought I would see this Louisiana-based chicken spot here in maryland. Raising Cane's has always had the best chicken fingers out there, to me.
They are all over Las Vegas, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, (Boston?) et al. Charlottesville,VA is as close to Maryland as they have been. Philly? How long have they been there? I have visited most of these spots and I can say that there is no drop off in the quality of their food when they move away from LA.
The chicken is cooked to order and burn your fingers and mouth hot (if you dine in). I got the Caniac which features six fingers. The heat was maintained through the first three. The fingers are extremely tender. The fries and Texas toast are great as well. The menu is limited to chicken fingers, fries, toast, cole slaw and various drinks.(I like the lemonade.) They focus only on these things and they do an outstanding job with those.
The service is amazing - There are over twenty workers on staff to serve the over forty people standing in the que outside. How did they know that they would have crowds like this? Kudos to them for their preparation. They did their homework.
The interior features the local college themes, Towson, in this case. Will the next stores be UMBC, UM College Park, Johns Hopkins?
Raising Cane's is growing like crazy. If you are an investor you're out of luck here, Raising Cane's is private. That may explain how they uphold great quality.
A new concealed carry law and now a Raising Cane's! Two things I NEVER thought I'd see in Maryland. MD is definitely changing for the better. (I know, a misplaced...
Read moreThis place was super hyped, so I went the first week it opened. They were quite organized and it took us about 30 minutes to get through the line. To my surprise, there was plenty of seating. The wait from our food wasn’t bad and I ordered the box combo, replacing the coleslaw with extra Cane’s sauce. I personally didn’t care for the Cane’s sauce and am going to opt for honey mustard next time (which isn’t advertised, but they do have it.) The sauce made me think of ranch dressing, which I’m not a huge fan of. No complaints on the chicken; it was hot, crispy and fresh, though it isn’t really seasoned. The toast was good, but nothing to write home about. The fries were a surprising favorite — they really probably the second best crinkle fries I’ve had after Shake Shack’s. I am sure I will be getting Cane’s again when it’s a little less crowded, though I will probably bring it home and eat it with Chick-fil-A sauce. A word on parking: Don’t park in the Whole Foods garage unless you buy something from Whole Foods - the parking will cost you $15 for an hour otherwise. The other side of the building has “Raising Cane’s validated parking” which another reviewer kindly photographed, but then said the restaurant did not acknowledge its existence and therefore could not get validation. As a result, a lot of people are just selfishly parking their cars on the side of the road with their blinkers on and disrupting the traffic, so hopefully Cane’s will be a little more transparent on the parking situation...
