First time at Shake Shack in years and wanted to give it a second shot. I got a cheeseburger (added lettuce * bacon), fries, and a brownie batter hot cocoa shake. Fries were great, though I agree that the portion is a little small for the price you pay. The burger was great, it was the *tiniest* bit under the well done I requested, but not a big deal. The milkshake tasted like chocolate ice cream; nothing to write home about, but also not tasteless so points for that. I could've done without the brownie brittle pieces as they tasted a little burnt. All in all, I'd go back (I actually did try to come back, but it was two minutes before closing time so we passed). I enjoyed this better than the burger spot around the corner. That being said, the location of this is horrendous. I understand it's mainly for pedestrians & college kids but there is a COMPLETE lack of free parking (outside of the mall which is inconvenient for gig workers). It's outrageous to expect people to pay to park just to run into a restaurant for a couple minutes However, to all the other people complaining about service/order issues: you all should know that it takes twoish months to work out all the kinks and for the staff to gel together and get a rhythm going. Extend them some grace and give them time. Signed, Someone who's worked in multiple restaurants

The Shake Shack in Towson seems like a good idea, for Towskn residents, but, actually a nightmare! The location is right by the Towson Circle, where you have to wrave in a circle of traffic and choose between Joppa Rd, York Rd and Dulaney Valley. The only parking situation you have, includes having to walk a block or 2 and maybe crossing a busy street. Shake Shack has no meals or combos. So, you have to order every item. They only cook the burgers medium well, so, no point in asking for it to be cooked well done. The foo, itself, is pretty good. The pricing is more than your regular fast food chains, but, lower than 5 Guys. The service at this particular location leaves much to be desired. The cashier did not tell me there were no combo meals at Shake Shack, the active manager did. And, when I got my order and it wad only a burger and milkshake, no fries, and I said something, they got smart with me. Even tild me "bye, bye" like that was gonna make me not want fries still. The issue got resolved, but, that still left a nasty impression on me, as far as service goes. I can't recommend this location for that reason. You may be better off utilizing a delivery app to order food from here.

For a fast food/casual restaurant, Shake Shack is definitely top notch. Their burgers can sometimes rival ones that I get at actual sit-down restaurants. This location at Towson was good in my opinion. Not sure why the reviews are a bit low. The service was okay and the wait times for our food was a little long, but other than that the food was delicious! Little pricey, but definitely worth the up in quality compared to other places like Five Guys. The burgers always have a generous amount of cheese, and the patty is very flavorful. I would definitely come back to this location! Oh and the atmosphere was nice as well. Could be a nice date spot; its modern and bright but also very casual and inviting. Besides, who doesn’t know about Shake Shack?

We had a very disappointing experience on our first visit to Shake Shack in Towson for multiple reasons. First, they do not allow any customers to wait inside the restaurant after their order has been placed. I know that interior dining is limited right now because of the restrictions. I understand if they want to shut their dining room completely but not even allow people to wait inside when it's below freezing outside, and everything is covered in ice seems rude and dismissive.

The food was the next major let-down. We ordered a Shack burger, Smoke Shack, a Chicken sandwich, 10 chicken bites, two fries, a root beer float, and a caramel shake. Out of all that, the only two items that were worth it were the Chicken sandwich and the Smoke Shack burger. The meat on the regular Shack burger was beyond dry, and it seems like it had sat on the grill for 5 minutes before being served. The chicken bites, I'm sad to say, literally went into the trash. I mean, they were inedible. The batter was coated in oil, and it broke apart as soon as you touched it. The fries tasted frozen, and like they were straight out of a bag that you buy at the grocery store, and the cheese sauce was rock hard. Lastly, the rootbeer float was another item that ended in the trash. When I received it, I asked the cashier if that was the float because you could not see any ice cream in it. It looked and tasted like someone had splashed half and half onto root beer.

Overall I genuinely feel like I wasted over $30 worth of food because it did not taste good, and it was quite expensive in the end. There are much better burger places in Towson that offer better products with more selection and at a...

Not the best tasting burger I've ever had by a long shot. The chicken tenders taste straight up nasty in that they do not taste like chicken AT ALL! The Chicken Tenders taste like deep fried well seasoned chicken paste. McDonald's Chicken McNuggets taste far better and cost less. The tea was good. The french fries are of a serviceable quality but no where near what I'd call delicious or even good.

The real problem with Shake Shack is the food is on par with a good McDonald's but the prices suggest one should expect a higher quality product. I visited with a friend and even he felt the food was so disgusting we made a pact to never visit this place again.

I am sad to write this two star review because the counter staff were the kindest most pleasant part of our visit. The staff are exceptional. The ordering and payment system is a bit abysmal since it is a computer driven process that is neither well thought out or intuitive. The facility seems very clean and the atmosphere is very nice.

The only thing terribly foul at Shake Shack is the food which is why I had to give Shake Shack a 2 star rating. I had hoped Shake Shack would have been a 5 Guys or a Fuddruckers like experience, NOT EVEN CLOSE! For me Shake Shack is a total nice try...
