Five Guys — Restaurant in Tracy

This is directed towards management/ owners, because as a business owner myself, I would want you to be fully aware of the impression your staff is giving patrons.

This location rarely picks up the phone, but if they do, they sound genuinely sour and angry to be there. The cold tone is painful to interact with and getting a general answer from someone is like pulling teeth. Today is November 9, 2021, I would say this is mostly directed to whoever was on staff today. Please note, the reason for calling at all is due to inconsistent operating hours as of late - wanted to confirm they were indeed open.

My husband entered this location to put in an order (given the phone call was so unsettling) and nobody greeted him despite seeing him enter. He stood there 3 minutes before realizing he was unwelcome and the same staff we likely encountered hours earlier on the phone, or similar, was still present. He called me from the parking lot to say that he felt the food would likely be poorly made based on the attitudes of the workers currently on staff.... and that masks were halfway down their faces. Bottom line, he is one of the nicest people you'll meet and somehow they made him leave

The last time we DID take the risk of eating here, weeks ago (because we otherwise love this restaurant chain), I had a genuine piece of receipt inside my burger. Quite a bummer to find.

All of this is avoidable with decent employees with decent attitudes, proper food handling and sense. I am confident this is easier said than done given the difficult in attracting good talent these days, but this is really hurting this particular location and that cant be...

I went maybe a good 30 minutes before closing, wasn't really expecting that greater service honestly, just because that's how fast food places normally are. I think this location is mostly ran but people who are under the age of 25, not that that's a bad thing in any way. But I realize a lot of them seem to be in the off work mode. It took a second for someone to actually take my order because the two guys in the front were on their phone. Sort of looking back and forth at each other like you should do it, no, you should do it. Finally, someone took my order and I just sat in my car since they were already a bunch of other possibly under 25-year-olds sitting in the restaurant making TikToks and I didn't feel like being in the background. Went back in 30 minutes later. All my food was ready, though everything was somewhat okay. I did realize a few of the fries were very much raw. All in all is not like I'm not going to go to this location, but maybe be weary if you're one of the late late...

My brother & I were hangry so we needed fast but quality eats. I am a very picky foodie. We decided on burgers & choose Five Guys not the so called b king next door. Five Guys surpassed our expectations. Kimberly was very patient as we made our order choices. She smiled & guided us thru the FREE toppings(my favorites) which no other burger place has. Fresh cut fries, milkshakes or a variety of sodas & waters finish the choices. We enjoyed our delicious burgers & fries in a comfortable setting. Scott told us where we could find Five Guys in the Sacramento area & checked to see how we enjoyed our meal. This is the place to go for fresh not frozen burgers, real bacon & great french fries.
