The food and service was absolutely unbelievable! My wife and I came in the other day. It was our first time trying this place and was pretty excited to try out some of their "delicious" food. Right off the bat the lay out of the restaurant looked very odd. All this "money" and still can’t even save up for any heaters, it was semi cold and a little bit of the musty side as well. We were seated and the waitress didn’t even bother to ask what we’d like to drink. She gave us water which is fine but maybe ask next time what we’d like to drink. Then we were handed menus and the lady had a bit of an attitude / rushed attitude towards us. Next the pricing of the food. Certain items on the menu was a little overpriced, for example starting off with some appetizers ranged from $11 to $17. That’s almost as if you are already ordering the meal. Then the lady asked us if we were ready to order and we were all set! My wife ordered the "house special pho" and I ordered the "chicken rice with rice lemongrass" a little after we ordered then came my wife’s side to put on the soup. And a little after that came the side of fries we ordered and shrimp fresh rolls. The wait we waited for our appetizers was pretty quick so I’ll give them that. Next came the disaster of it all. My chicken was served and first initial thoughts it didn’t look too bad at all. I was waiting for my wife’s food to be served so we can begin eating. Finally my wife’s soup was ready to be eaten, my wife decided to put the spoon in the soup but didn’t touch her mouth at all. As we were ready to chow down the server came up to us but in the most awkward way, he was standing next to us and didn’t say a word for a split second and was almost watching us in the most uncomfortable way. Words finally left his mouth and told my wife that they accidentally gave her the wrong soup. There was a pause but it was really awkward again because they barely even said anything, the lady then said she’ll bring out my wife’s correct soup and didn’t even ask us or told us we can keep the soup that wasn’t even "ours" keep in mind they didn’t even say "im sorry" throughout the whole conversation. That was an immediate red flag but I was still giving it grace. Then I started to eat my chicken and im not really sure how to explain it but my chicken almost tasted like spicy fruity pebbles…. Yes! The cereal! The only thing that was pretty enjoyable was the rice and the fresh rolls we ordered. I tasted my wife’s soup and it tasted like perfume and pretty bland and boring. I felt so bad that my sweet and lovely wife had to devour this disappointing meal. I can’t believe that I spent close to $50 for such a horrible experience. You are better off spending that $50 elsewhere and had a much better experience and way better tasting food. I will NEVER return to this so called establishment nor will I ever even consider coming back. I hope that the $50 went towards heating because they need it. And hopes that the $50 went towards hiring better people. Such a shame and...

My go to is their chicken rice plate, which comes with thinly sliced chicken, rice, clear broth, salad, and fish sauce. I don't know what they put in their fish sauce but it is addicting! It goes well with everything on that plate - as a dipping sauce for the chicken and as a dressing for the salad. The soup was yummy, too. It's slightly salty and herby from the cilantro. I don't like cilantro, but I don't mind it in this soup.
My mom ordered the vermicelli noodles with chicken. Her chicken was even thinner than mine, which unfortunately also made it dry. So the chicken can be hit or miss here. But what's always a hit is their pho. If you're a pho fan, then you'll enjoy it here. It's a huge portion with choice of noodles. I'm not big on soup, but when I'm craving pho I go here. My go-to is the one with fish balls. The fish is chewy and soaks up the flavors of the pho well.
They can get really busy here, but for the most part service is fast. And always friendly. It's a casual restaurant with tables mostly accommodating for four people. But there is a large table to accommodate six people.
Parking is difficult and awkward. They're in a weird spot at this strip mall that's angled away from the main part. It might be easier to park in the main lot and walk.
This is one of the consistently good restaurants in Tracy. It's no surprise that my family and I...
Read moreI'm half vietnamese so I've had a lot of vietnamese food. This is my first time coming here, and since I'm vegetarian, there isn't a lot of selection for vegetarians/vegans here in Tracy compared to the selection you get in San Jose.
I ordered V5, which is a cold noodle salad type of dish. This dish is very common among vietnamese people, and my mom makes me this all the time. I do have to say, that I was surprised how good the food was. It was much more spicier than the other variations I've tried. It seems they've combined two beloved vegetarian/vegan dishes like the lemongrass tofu and cold noodle salad into a more flavor-packed combination. I will be coming back, and am excited to try the other chay/vegan dishes they have to offer.
The downside however, is that the customer service was a bit lacking and slow. If you're the type that minds having to flag down the waiter, or in a rush, then I would say this place may not be for you. On the positive side, this place is fairly comfortable and relaxing. It was a nice experience for me nonetheless, and a time where I could just rest and not...
