Would be 5 stars but I had to wait over 15mins for an employee to clean up Human Waste! Yep, I found pop in the toys called out to the employees and then had to sit and stop over 25 kids from stepping and spreading it all over... The girl employees were too grossed out to come clean it up the only male employee was found and made to do the dirty work... This definitely did not impress me... We will be going back and giving it another chance but I hope they have a meeting with their employees... If they're not able to pick up after the children, maybe they shouldn't be working there.
Response to Your Comment: So what you're saying is it is your current procedure to have the new employee do everything? He was currently hosting a birthday party... There were three unbusy female employees behind the counter... After responding to my husband with "Ew gross" they looked at each other talked for a little bit then sent one of them up to the current birthday party that the only male employee was currently hosting and had him come downstairs... He came with a few sanitary wipe and gloves... He did have to go into the back room to retrieve these cleaning items...
As I was a patron that had paid to be there not being paid to keep other children away from somebody else's feces... Every minute I watched their every step... It was extremely infuriating and in my opinion extremely sexist... But now I understand you have all your new employees do everything and let the seasons employees sit around and get paid to do nothing...
Maybe you should change the way you do things in your store. Feel free to supply an email address and I will respond with an email next time :-) I did not see an email provided in your comment so I thought I should just respond via comment... Removing one of my stars do to your response. Finding out that it is up to the new employees to do everything even though they are untrained makes me think even less of...
Read moreNot always baby friendly. We've been coming here for a few years now with my oldest. Enough to buy a Summer Fun pass twice. We won't be returning with our baby. My ten-month-old almost got hit with a bouncing yoga ball twice by kids much too large be to in the "infant area". The employee was paying enough attention to ask me to put socks on my infant, who had been wearing them most of our visit but by then were already soaked with drool, but said nothing to the older kids knocking down babies. My anxiety was so high we just left. Super disappointed
ETA: the issue wasn't the socks. We had extra pairs in the car. The fact was the employee was watching large children (maybe 5-7 years) bounce a yoga ball repeatedly several feet into the air next to multiple babies. I was holding my son on top of a small plastic climbing structure and the whole thing almost got knocked over. Kids were throwing plastic food at each other. I had such bad anxiety and was already considering leaving when I was approached. If it was obvious my infant wasn't wearing socks, for the 5 minutes he wasn't, it was easy to observe the disrespectful behavior and lack of parental involvement around him. It's extremely discouraging to be told it's my responsibility to talk to staff when that moment could have been used to make a "safe environment" for everyone. As for older children in the toddler area, you do not enforce age restrictions in your play areas "so long as they are following the rules and playing in a gentle manner" but that was clearly not happening during my visit. Unfortunate it's my job to make sure it's not "too busy" on a weekday afternoon to be safe and I that I have to go out of my way to ask the staff to make sure my kids...
Read moreI hate to give this review because we LOVE the actual play equipment and staff! Fun slides, bouncy structures and lots of things to do for kids of a variety of ages! Most of the staff is pretty friendly. It seems like they clean frequently, also. The only issue, and it's a big one, is every single time my children play here, there are a couple of children, but sometimes one, who instigate fights/terrorize other children-- not just my own. I recently discovered these children belong to the OWNERS! This is highly unprofessional and terrible for business. The child who is the worst-behaved is actually only between 3 and 5 years old but she has chased my youngest daughter through the obstacles, trying to take a toy away, my child ends up completely terrified and confused, desperately trying to escape and then running to me devastated. It took me a while to realize what was going on. One of the last times we visited, this child tackled my daughter, she was literally on top of her, scratching her and screaming in her face. When enough of a fuss is made about these children, the only thing that seems to be done is they get TREATS. An ice pop, a balloon, whatever they want and they typically run right back to the play areas and still do not play nice. Also, they seem to be the only ones I've seen, not being held accountable for not following guidelines. And more than once, I have had to wait excessively for service because a staff member will be dealing with one of them, otherwise, they are usually UNATTENDED. I TOTALLY understand being a busy mother, but you cannot run a business like this! We may not return, and we were regulars! I just can't take a chance on my daughter being physically...
