First, I bought tickets for the movie at a time I realized we couldn't make because of a previous appointment. I swung by last night (before the time for the tickets I bought for today) and the staff was happy to change my tickets from the 11am movie to the 2pm movie, which kind of saved the day for us. THIS is how you start off customer service on the right foot.
We went to the movie this afternoon, we got their a little early for our show because we knew we were going to order lunch for during the movie. The staff is very inviting, when we explained that it was our first visit we were informed that it's open seating in the theater and that someone would come by to take our food order (menus are on the tables in front of your seats).
The seats are basic old style theater seats (no recliners here), but that is much more conducive to eating an entire meal while you watch a movie. The tables are simple folding tables, but the kind that are super easy to sanitize.
The nice woman who came by and took our order was VERY patient with my children (11 and 13) as they ordered for themselves, they know how to order, but sometimes have a lot of questions, and she took the time to answer every question. We ordered mozzarella sticks with fries, chicken strips with fries, nachos, popcorn, soft pretzel with cheese, drinks, and 12 wings with "garbage" sauce (I know, sounds gross, but an acquaintance recommended it and we'll try anything once).
The food came out during previews which was perfect and was dropped off with very little interruption, plenty of napkins and straws were included without having to ask for them, which is nice, because you don't want to have to ask for extras when your movie is going. Speaking of that though, if you DO need something while the movie is going, there is a flag at the side of your table that will summon a server to take care of you.
Let's talk about the food. My kids liked the mozzarella sticks and chicken strips, I tried the fries and they were delicious, super crispy, salted right, and flavorful. The popcorn was as it should be, hot buttery, and well salted. The cheese that came with the nachos and pretzel was cold, that's my only complaint for the whole meal (if I had one suggestion it would be to heat that cheese up and maybe hit it with some smoked hot paprika, it would be a game changer for sure). The drinks are refillable, which I always appreciate at the price you pay for drinks in a movie theater. The WINGS THOUGH, holy cow, those were something. They must get them from some kind of dinosaur sized chicken because they are HUGE, cooked just right, super crispy (they are breaded), and I'm not entirely sure what is in the "garbage" sauce, but it was delicious, sweet, savory, a little bit of heat, completely yummy.
To the gentleman I spoke to before I left the theater today (manager, maybe?) thank you again. "Normal" experiences are hard to come by here right now, and this mamma needed to have one with her boys more than even I knew. You are doing something special, please keep it up, I support you and I'll continue to support Tracyton Movie House with my recommendations...
Read more6/4/25 My husband and I haven't been to the movies in a long time, and we've been eager to see what the Tracyton Movie House Theater looks like.
When we walked in, we saw kiosks where we could buy tickets. As we began the ticket-buying process, one of the friendly staff members told us that we could also buy tickets from a person if we preferred. She was very nice and offered useful information about how to order food.
As we entered the theater, my first thought was how convenient it looked! We were excited to see a shared table in front of every two seats, which was a great idea. Instead of having to balance our snacks on the seat next to us—where things often get lost—we had a perfect spot to keep everything. We could even look at the menus for food and drinks right there (and yes, they had alcohol!). Once we decided what we wanted, all we did was raised the little flag by our table, someone came and took our order, and then brought it to us. It made for such a fun and easy experience! The best part was not having to wait in long lines and missing any of the movie.
The staff were nice and eager to help. We placed our food order shortly after sitting down, and it arrived pretty quickly, in about 15 minutes. However, after about half an hour, I tried to get some popcorn by putting up the flag, which is how you signal staff there. Unfortunately, no one came to assist me until around 45 minutes before the movie ended. I ended up leaving my seat to get popcorn from the lobby instead. I'm just grateful that it was not busy due to the day of the week and time of day we chose. And, we had the theater all to ourselves, which was great!
I have one concern about the theater experience. I found the seats to be really uncomfortable. Because I have some back and neck issues, I felt there was no support at all. Being shorter made it even harder; when I sat down in the large reclying theater chair that sinks (like the theater seat) my feet didn't reach the floor. I ended up sitting on the edge of the seat the entire time, using the table to help hold myself up.
Overall we had a great time, and I'd be willing to go back, even if it meant holding myself up by the table LOL.
I do know Tracyton Movie House Theater offers new and older movies. I know they offer live events, I think you can rent a theater and book the arcade for private events as well.
Tracyton Movie House Theater is located at 1520 NE Riddell Road, Bremerton, WA. It is within walking distance of several establishments, including Fred Meyer, Chevron, Grocery Outlet, Wilco, and more. There is a spacious parking lot shared by several smaller businesses, providing plenty of flat parking space.
Check them out, I think you love the experience and its a great way to support a locally own small business.
Don't forget, Be kind to ALL...
Read moreI saw a screening of Sonic 3 and 5 minutes into the end credits, the film abruptly shut off and the people who were watching were forced to leave early. I asked one of the attendees what was going on with the projector because I was told there were two credits scene and I had only watched one of them. And they said something along the lines of "Oh, there's only one additional scene, so we stopped it right there so we could get ready for the next film"
This statement is a BLATANT LIE!! I went on YouTube after being told this and sure enough, the very first result that popped up when I searched "Sonic 3 post credits scene" was the scene that I missed on the big screen and was told did not exist. So I was essentially lied to by an employee who doesn't do basic research on films.
As someone who has been staying behind watching credits for 5 to 6 years now, I found it very rude and disrespectful of this place to disregard people such as myself just because they want to make money faster or go home faster. When I pay for a movie that is factually 1 hour and 50 minutes long, I EXPECT to see 1 hour and 50 minutes worth of material on the screen. It's not about the cost of the movie ticket, it's the principle behind it.
And all that talk about getting ready for the next film? Yeah, that was also another lie. Because moments after they had cleared everyone out of the theater, they began setting up lights on the stage and there was even a cloth sign they put up that read "Benton". Now please tell me what kind of film playing in a theater requires large lights and sign in which the latter cannot be seen in the dark. If there's one thing worse than bad customer service, it's dishonest customer service. And that is the vibe I got from tonight experience at Tracyton's Movie House.
I honestly should have spent my time somewhere else this evening. I don't know where I'm gonna go to go see a movie in Theaters next, but I can certainly confirm it won't be...
