Sunday, August 8th in the evening I placed an order for the dominos located at 140 Main st Trappe, PA 19426 order number 88 for curbside pickup. I parked in the first available spot near the walkway in the parking lot (as I did at least 10 times before). I waited until my food became available and received the 2 min timer alert that my food was en route. 10 seconds after the timer started, it ended and stated my food had been delivered which it had not. It wasn't until 4 min after the timer started that someone even started walking from behind the counter with my order. This gentleman exited the store, looked around, and made eye contact with me while I was sitting in my car with my hazards on. And proceed to go back into the store. Then speaking to a coworker working behind the counter and proceed to point at me. I waited thinking maybe that wasn't my order but when I did not receive a call or anything or see any further movement with another order, I decided to call. When I called I made mention of the person not coming to the vehicle and my timer is stopped. The rude General Manager informed me that he would not be coming to provide me the food and he in fact stopped the timer himself despite not attempting to bring the food till four min afterward ( please review the camera). He stated I am to park in the driving lane which has a signal stating to not do that per the fire marshall(review attachment). I explained this to him and he informed me he would not be bringing my food so I can come to get it or it will be canceled. I explained we will continue this conversation inside of the establishment and ended the call. While inside, I showed the general manager a picture of the sign (attached) that is located outside of the establishment. I explained that I legally cannot do that and he rebutted it stating Dominos has an agreement with the fire marshall. I asked him to provide some legal documentation that would protect me encase I or any patron gets a ticket for this as his word would not hold up if one contested a ticket- he couldn't/refused. I also inquires about why was my order marked as delivered when it wasn't, another fruitless answer. I asked for his name and he informed me he was not legally required to provide that to me but did inform me that he was the General Manager. Speaking of names, none of the employees wore name tags. I made mention that I would be filing a corporate complaint and he mentioned " Go ahead, all their going to do is forward this to me and I'll be the one calling you to offer you free food again, that's how Dominos corporate works!" The ignorance and disparaging remarks expressed throughout this conversation were unacceptable. I am following the rules and regulations as posted in the complex but I am being penalized for it. If I was parked too far, why was the number on the order not called? Why go inside and point at me while speaking to another coworker about it? Why tell me you're not bringing it out so come inside or it will be canceled? I feel I was discriminated against and I filed numerous corporate complaints but have yet...
Read moreOrder 3 pizzas at 7:25 PM. Tracker showed them leaving the store at 7:46 PM. At 8:25, I began to feel concern for the driver so I called the location and they informed me that the driver was in the parking lot. As my window was overlooking the parking lot, I knew this was not, in fact, the case. At 8:44, the front desk called us to notify us that our pizza was at the front desk. 1 hour and 19 minutes after the order was placed, it showed up to our room and was of course cold. I phoned back to the store and the young lady I spoke to, although polite, was ready to offer me “1 free pizza on my next order.” This was obviously not an adequate response because we will NOT be ordering from this location ever again, so I asked to speak to the manager. The manager answered the phone with what I am sure was not the response he was trained to give, is verbatim words were “What do you want!” I was a bit taken aback, but I explained the situation to him and his reply was, “Look, we can handle this two ways....I can resend the order, or we can cancel it!” I replied that I wished to cancel it and he responded, “FIne!” And proceeded to ubruptly end the call without further conversation. This happened on April 7th, 2018. If you missed this review here, I will copy/paste it to TripAdvisor, Yelp, Urban Spoon, Open Table, and Dine. ...
Read moreI’ve gotten delivery from here quite a few times in the last few months, most of the time being quite late at night and my expectations have always been far surpassed. The delivery service is quicker than quick like seriously unbelievably quick. Special shoutout to delivery driver, Kyle, who noticed some packages sitting out in the driveway in the pouring rain and went out of his way to bring them up onto the porch to keep them dry. The extra effort and care does not go unnoticed, thank you!
The quality of the food itself is so much better than i remembered it to be. You cannot go wrong with a handmade pan pizza (especially when it’s reheated in an air fryer). I usually go for light sauce and well done and it’s so dang good. The cheesy bread is stellar as it had always been. Cinnamon twists are good, but i do miss good ol classic cinnastix. Rip, no worries though overall Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt, Karen’s will be Karen’s. At the end of the day, it is Dominos and if you set your expectations as such, even if you set them a little higher, i think you might just be surprised at what you get. 5/5 stars Thank you Dominos for always turning my hangry mood into full...
