41 Grill & Draft House — Restaurant in Troy

Stood at the entrance waiting to be sat. Made eye contact with the manager and other employees. No one acknowledged us or greeted us. After about 5 minutes a CUSTOMER told me that it was seat yourself. Not a worker. 571 grill isn't seat yourself and neither was Miso. So this is very confusing especially with no sign and a giant hostess stand. Sat down and waited about 5 minutes, finally we were greeted and took our drink order. Asked for the draft list (being a draft house) and he said they don't have one. He haphazardly listed what drinks he thinks they have and couldn't remember the names of them. Only like 5 or 6 taps and all were flagships. They had no kids menu and were not willing to split the tenders like they have at 571 grill in the past. When half the party was away from the table in the bathroom the server asked if half of the party was ready to order. Menu was very limited and with no kids menu we decided to go to mojos for a much better experience. Didn't get food but $19 for a burger in...

The burger was dry and pretty underwhelming, especially compared to the parent business, 571 Grill and Draft House and the bun seemed too big for the burger. I’m hoping it’s just new opening growing pains. I’ll try again, but the price is quite high for the quality of the burger I had. Service was slow as well, but it was the first week so that’s kind of expected. I did like the large portion of fries and look forward to their expanded menu. I’m hoping it was a one-off and I’m pretty excited that they’ve moved into Troy. 571 Grill had some of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and I’m crossing my fingers for the same...

I love the service here!! 571 has always been amazing, and miso in troy was separately amazing prior to the merge. While the food selection might be missed, i know other places I can get it. I love that I get the amazing cheese curds, smoked wings, and burger option from 571 here locally. The service is above all, and I cannot wait to dine here again. Kudos to the management for making a smooth transition to this...
