We were excited to try this place. The store was clean, menu looks great, kiosk is easy enough to navigate. Until after the order was placed, one of the staff told us that they are out of the protein for the spicy chicken noodle(ē“…ę²¹é›žēµ²éŗµļ¼‰so we agreed to swap the chicken to shrimp, confirming that only the protein will be swapped, which means we were expecting spicy shrimp noodle of some sort. when the order arrived, we were all confused, we got served a shrimp noodle soup. When we went to confirm with a staff, the staff is giving a bit of attitude telling that this is what we ordered. Clearly this is not what we ordered. We would wish that if certain item is not available, just simple edit your kiosk portal to not allow customer order that item. And also provide a better customer service by explaining what might had happened instead of blaming it was us, the customer, who placed the shrimp noodle soup. The sticker on the bowl stated what we ordered- spicy chicken noodle. Other than the bad customer service experience, the food was not bad, boba tastes pretty good.

I visited HTEA Cafe in Troy for the first time yesterday with a friend, and we were both pleasantly surprised by how great the experience was! We initially stopped in to grab some bubble tea to go, but after taking a look at the menu and chatting with the staff, we decided to stay—and we’re so glad we did. Payton was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, making sure we felt welcome and helping us choose a meal that suited both of our tastes. We ended up sharing potstickers and a salmon bowl, and both dishes were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The environment was warm and inviting, and the entire staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Payton also mentioned that the menu is currently being revamped, which has me even more excited to return and see what new offerings they’ll have. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bubble tea or a full meal, HTEA Cafe is definitely worth a visit. Can’t wait to go back!

Horrible experience! I went in and used the kiosk and i tapped to pay. The machine said it didn't go through but the charge did go through on my apple account. No big deal i went to the counter to let them know. I was then told by the pink haired manager that no my payment did not go through. I showed her on my end it did and took the money out if my account. she told me there was nothing she could do. Unwilling to give me my drink or money back. I had to keep asking over and over again and i did start to raise my voice because thats theft. She walked away and continued to mumble insults under her breath. Luckily another worker made me my drink and was very kind. I don't understand why it had to get heated to fix a very simple issue. I had proof of purchase and i was treated like a liar and trash. I was simply trying to find somewhere to do homework because the library is closed on labor day. I would never recommend this place to anyone based on the service and way i was just treated....
