heres my multiple reviews from me and my colleagues though i no longer work here id thought id leave a review.
Regular Customer I used to come to this Subway regularly, but lately Mary has made it hard to even want to walk in. She’s rude, unapproachable, and always seems angry. I’ve seen her roll her eyes at customers, talk down to them, and act like it’s a problem just to take an order.Subway is supposed to be fast, friendly, and consistent not a place where you feel judged or disrespected. I now go out of my way to avoid this location if she’s working. The rest of the team is great, but Mary’s attitude ruins the whole vibe.
Another Walmart Associate As someone who also works in the same Walmart, it’s honestly frustrating dealing with Mary. Most Subway workers are cool and professional, but she acts like she’s above everyone. She disrespects Walmart employees regularly and treats us like we’re a bother just for ordering lunch on our break. It’s embarrassing and uncomfortable, especially when we’re just trying to grab food quickly. Multiple coworkers have had bad experiences with her too. If this keeps up, I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Parent with Kids I brought my kids in for a quick meal and couldn’t believe how nasty Mary was with the customers in front of us. She was short-tempered, visibly irritated, and practically threw their food together. When it was our turn, I tried to be extra polite to lighten the mood, but she gave me the same cold attitude. My kids even asked, “Why is she so mad?” that’s how obvious it was. This location used to be a nice stop during shopping trips, but now it’s unpredictable depending on who’s working. I’ve witnessed her speaking rudely to multiple customers, often acting like she’s annoyed just to be there. She talks down to people, cuts them off mid-sentence, and has no patience or professionalism.A friend of mine was even threatened and banned by her after she escalated a minor misunderstanding. Instead of de-escalating or treating the situation with care, Mary reacted aggressively and made things worse. That kind of behavior doesn’t belong in any workplace, especially one that serves the public. Read moreOrdered 6" Turkey which was attempted to be prepared by Melissa. Her forte: 1 slice of tomato, 1 slice of cucumber, 2-3 leaves of lettuce and spinach, 1 slice of turkey. Asked her to add more veggies and she had a cheeky response: "Why do you want veggies - that's plenty? Take it or leave it. "
The owners haven't trained her well enough: She should have added NO veggie voluntarily per her training. Retrain her.
She works at the other Subway in the strip and is perpetually talking ill, shamelessly, about customers.
Next time I see her at the Walmart, I will go to the other Subway in the same strip. Staying away from her.
